Disregard the 2 attached photos of a DID! I thought that they were of the D16, but they're actually the D20!

Rick, in your 2 pics of the DID with clear tank on it looks like your coiling your wire all the way down the wick ?
What is the purpose of this if you don't mind me asking.

Edit - just read 1 page back, that Miriam asked the same question and going by your reply a post or two under Miriam's the DID in those two photo's is not yours.

WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll:

My Gemini Arrived Today :D I love this thing, it is Beautiful and looks amazing on my Satin Provary. I am in the process of building myself a small block with 510 size holes in it to hold my DID's :D I do not have enough Mods to run all of them and they are all set up with juice in them so I have to keep them upright when not in use :D So I figure a small block of wood with 510 sized holes in it will work perfectly as a holder for my Stainless Steel works of art :D

I cannot wait to get this all set up and vaping :D

Hope everyone else is also having a wonderful day :D I just got home and now have fun work to do getting this beauty all set up and getting Y'all some Photos Up here of the "Three Amigo's" Mini #169 Short #0121 and Gemini #0130, (Which is Perfect because the middle numbers are my favorite number "13").

Sincerely;
Nate aka Darth Vapor

Okie dokie :D All set up and vaping like a champ :D I have to say, this Gemini is probably my favorite of the three for vaping performance plus aesthetics it matches up beautifully with the Satin Provari Mini and it is definitely putting out some serious vapor :D

Okay First, my Beautiful Collection on the special platform I made today,(Still needs finishing but it works for the moment :D:

IMAG0132.jpg

Next my Newest Arrival on my Provari Mini which in my opinion looks absolutely stunning together :D:

IMAG0131.jpg

And Last but not least my very first Vape Face :D Made with the vapor from my Gemini, (and by the way the window next to me is open with a breeze coming through AND the fan is on over my head too, now THAT is some Vapor!!):

Wow I really like this Gemini and all of my DID's, only missing one now and that is a standard DID, unless the D16 is out and available in which case I am missing two for a complete set :D

Damn Nate. Looks like you're having a great time! :D

LOL You know it Brother, the only problem now is that I have more Atty's than I do Mods to put them on LOL Time to start saving up for some mods. I will need another 14xxx mod to put my Mini DID on and I will also need another 18xxx Mod to put my Short DID on. LOL I am thinking that the Timon and the Poldiac would fit the bill very nicely for this task :D

Just curious what your resistance that is and what is your Provari set on.

The sweetest part of dedicating each DID to it's own mod, is that when we first set it up, before tightening the center post, we can align the wick with the button (if it's a button mod) and always have the perfect wicking vape without being a pretzel. :) They'll all get their work out, trust me! There is no such thing as too many mods or too many DIDs. Just ask Overall! :)

In your excitement you forgot to build it upside down.
I keep all my DIDs filled with different juices. I typically only carry 3 mods ....provari.....ggts.....and roller at a time. My mini filled with pluid stays by my bed. Then I have a little case that houses my 3 mod less DIDs. They lay on their side quite happily for days without leaking. I find the DID so leak proof that I don't even check for leaks. My other genesis atties I could never trust like that.
Like Toni I am a bit tough on my DIDs and they frequently get dropped. I have 2 of my 3 provarys going back for repair they finally got dropped too often and the DID is tougher that the provari electronics.

The resistance is 1.9 ohms and I was vaping it at 4.0 volts for that photo.

haha, Jim that was Nate with the new dancing post over his Gemini. But me and my dancers will be joining him in that happy dance by the end of the year if hubby knows what's good for him. :D

Congrats Nate, it's a beauty!! Love the holder too... and the new Provari!!! Sweet!! :banana: :banana: :banana:

LOL Sounds like Hubby better get you what you want :laugh:

This is very very true :D I really like it when a great atty and mod combo comes together to make a perfect vape without having to hold it in an awkward position :D

DOH!!!!!!!!!! Ooops. I totally forgot about that :facepalm: :facepalm: Oiy, next build this weekend I will give that a try. Yeah I only cary three with me at a time as well. I was just feeling creative today so I decided to start my display project for atomizers :D Ultimately each hole in it will have a 510 adapter in it so I can screw the Atomizers down onto it :DThen it will look awesome with the stain and sanded finish :D

I may not be able to make a Woden Box mod worth beans, (And believe me I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES and FAILED LMAO) but I can certainly build other things that come out extremely nice :D

That the Provari's :( I hope they get back to you in perfect working order soon :D

Don't you just love when you build a new coil and wick, and BAM, it just works like a dream. I wired up my standard DID a bit different this time. Rolled a solid 500 mesh wick, but rather than my normal fatty which I jam into hole, I rolled a bit tighter with some breathing room. Used kanthal 28, 4 wrap and am ohming out at 1.4. Marvelous flavor, and instant burn on my Uranus mech mod. Btw, jack frosted the wick, no quench, used a wooden cutting board and rolled and tightened mesh by palm across wooden board with my full weight pressing down. Rolled in 1 direction only. This produced a wick with no center hole, and seems to wick quite well. I think my leaving "breathing room" around wick has increased flavor. I always run with fill hole screw in place. I use tall fill hole screw, but the old low screw, wrench tightened, for negative lead. I can tighten it down much better and it does not get in my way. Absolutely no hot spotting since kanthal 28. Jim's new products look very tempting and I may soon have to add to my mini and standard DIDS. My mini still is my travel companion atop a precise + 18350, but at home the original DID is still hard to beat. I have given away all other rigs to newbies trying to break the tobacco habit, with instructions that once they get the hang of things, go to mmvapors for the big boy (and girl) toys. Cheers all.

I am curious how other Provari users setup their DID. I have had my DID now for about 3 months and have tried various gauges of wire and various number of wraps. I just got some 28 awg that I did a 4 wrap coil and it is a little too low, but working. I am getting 0.9 ohms out of that and I am vaping at 2.9 volts. Too much higher and the Provari will give me a E2 error (too much current). Not really interested in mech mod though. Can't stand bottom buttons. The GG looks nice, but man are they expensive.

And by the way, I should be getting my second DID any day now.

I do a 4/3 wrap of 30awg....it gives me 1.3 to 1.5 depending on how fat my wick is. You can vape this at 3.7 to 4.2 volts. Provary will go higher but I vape fruits so don't need high voltage. The 30awg will provide instant vapor but with less short problems than 32awg.
