How are you liking that setup? I worry about wire security, I'm apparently hard on my did, and I doubt I'd be able to drive and fix a loose wire!

I swiped the photo from another post but some folks love it because it's so easy. I replaced all my DIDs guts with SS hardware and never have a problem. SS stays clean and strong.

Where in Dallas are you at man? I'm a big fan of the new location dfwvapor opened up in Frisco! I was unaware there was another did user so close to me!

Just popping in to say how much I love this thread: A whole bunch! :)

Atlas is awesome, but people on this side of the pond might immediately think of books filled with maps (assuming they don't know Greek mythology at all). I love the Kronos idea (Cronos? Cronus? Kronus?), personally.

Rum plays wonderfully with anything spiced (like cider, of course).

And the DID plays amazingly, period. :vapor:

Tony! I would love to take a few hits from your crazy setup. I can hardly imagine!

Miriam! Most of my closest friends are Sisters of Sappho, and you constantly crack me up. :p

Hi!

Make one up. I use 2/3 or 1/2. Find the one two is quick and hot. May be to harsh for some. But I like it. My juice is very bland. Only use about 5% flav.
As far as the looks of my wicks. What's wrong with them. They start out round and straight. But after re wrapping them every 3 days to clean(uma method) I get lazy and just wrap and go. The key is to look at it with a tough guy look and say. You work well or else. I never have a problem :).

Hey Jim, will the Poldiac work with a Kick and 18490? I'm not sure how people use non-regulated devices. I mean they start out at 4.2v and drop down to 3.4v over the course of using the battery. How does the vape not drastically change? I'm buying a Poldiac either way because I just have to have that cool button setup but if a Kick works in it, that would be even better!

At the higher amps/wats. The drop off isn't that noticeable.
4.1 volts 1 ohm. 4.1 amps. 16.81 wats., 3.9 volts 3.9 amps. 15.21 wats .. 10% change. Still freaken hot.

Why do you need to clean so often? .....Uma did you teach him to melt liquorice then wrap wire around it? I dry burn mine periodically. I was looking at one of my wicks today that is pretty gunked up (vaping 100% VG), I gave it a quickie paper towel wipe and will dry burn when I empty the tank next. I have a 3/2 on it right now. Taste is great so I really don't wanna change out the wick yet. I would if it looked
Like yours though Tony. But hey if it is still working then life is good.

Hi there,
I want to name my kind of Button which will come first with the POLDIAC Battery Holder and then with the ATLAS!
SO I will call it STEALTH BUTTON DESIGN
I hope you like it because I do!!!!!
I like it. I just had a laugh thinking about handing someone my Poldiac to "try out" while the button was hidden. the look on their face as they try to figure out how to fire it would be priceless.

Cell phone pics don't do it justice, but it is PERFECT! Thanks also to emonty, even though I hate thanking the Dutch, for pointing me in this direction
WOW, nice outfit!!! Cool and beautiful and classy... all of the above.

 nooooo, Tony learnt that on his own I'm afraid. But I do remember saying something about Halo's and Horns. :)
One of my earliest wicks looked a lot like Tony's. I had accidentally cut it too short, and it slipped down into the tank which made the top coil sit above it like a Halo. But it still worked great! As the days went by and the gunk built up, I just unwrapped the coil, slid it between a paper towel, rewrapped and left the extra tail for the next cleaning. It eventually got down to only 1 coil too, and it still kicked ....! It never did pop or go dull. I totally believe Tony that he is getting a great vape from it. Some wicks and coils are just that way, yeh they are. :)
Oh... and the Horns... yeh, I remember that statement well too... I learned how to TACKLE that wick and coil instead of letting it tackle me. Oh the joy!! I've still got my boxing trophy gloves on the mantlepiece. :D

Finally bored out my new(ish) Standard DID's airhole to 1/16"!!!! B/c I just moved, my old drill and vice are still packed away, so I bought a new drill, vice, and set of TI bits 2 days ago, then those, along with my sunglasses, got stolen when my car got broken into the other night...so I managed to borrow everything I needed from my pops! Hard week :(

That stinks! On the (optimistic) plus side, maybe that drill goes to a craftsman who feeds a family of 10...

Lol, I was training Rangers in Germany and traded some towns kids 3 MREs for a bottle of Cointreau (assume they swiped it from their folks). Man, the woods of Germany get cold and windy when you're stuck in a tent, but that night was alright...

Thanks Uma!

Cloud is right, I spelled it wrong, it's Cointreau.
But it is an amazing liqeur and the best if you want to stay warm and happy ;-)
It has been years I treated myself with a bottle....maybe this Christmas will be a good occasion?

Yummmy Stuff. Funny, I've had some terrible times with a lot of other "stuff" and somehow came out the other side (5 years in the Infantry can cure a lot of maladies). Nicotine and some of the finer libations are the last of my vices. I think I'm ok with going to the grave with a DID (on a Poldiac hint/hint/nudge/nudge) in one hand and a glass of 18 year Oban in the other....
