What 18650 battery is best suited the Poldiac??

The best 18650 batts are AW IMR. Or Panasonic/Orbtronic hybrid IMR Li-Mn/Li-ion. The Pannys are a bit longer and do not fit in everything that the AWs do. The ones I have are button tops so the flat tops prolly fit just like the AWs. Either way make sure you get IMR high drain.

WOOT!!! 18650 Poldiac all polished except satin pant and shirt (MMV site worked perfectly). CAN'T WAIT TO HOLD IT IN MY HANDS (is it too early to setup the tent near the mailbox?)

I'm hoping Rick and Dave will give us a remedial class on batteries now that I finally got an all mech mod. I know that they like batteries with high amp limits like the Menke (sp). I have 4 of these that I ordered for my Provari that are flat top and they never would work in it. Hopefully they will work in the Poldiac. Now I can maybe try out a 0.6 ohm coil with 2 wraps of 28 ga wire.

Jim, if you are willing to share, how many Poldiacs were ordered so far? Just curious.

As an FYI, I only buy flat tops now and use 20pcs 5mm x 1mm Disc RARE Earth Neodymium Strong Magnets N35 Warhammer Models | eBay for the Provari.
