Ok so I've had the Gemini for a couple of days now.
Impressions.
With 30 gauge 4/3 wrap. Fill screw needs to be left out
Much less leaking through the fill hole. So far none.
Vapor warmer then standard did
Another thing I've notice is that the top cap doesn't get as hot as the standard
the material is thinner so it cools down faster between I think
Also more heat stays on the wick. smaller area to heat.

So so pleased perfect atty for my usage. I think I may need to drop my nic level again. :)

Not quite, I wrapped the coil around the wick while I had a 14g syringe in the center channel before installing it all into the DID. I almost always wrap after installing my wick, but the 26g is just too thick to do that effectively. The resistance is in the ballpark of 0.5-0.6Ω, I haven't checked tbh, but it's pretty damn low ;)
looks awesome mate, very similar to my 28g Nichrome resistance wise
Can I ask Rick, what # mesh and what dimensions (length of mesh) are you using, and is the juice burning at all on a fresh battery.?

I don't measure my mesh before I roll my wicks, but the wick that I have going right now is around 5 layers of #500 mesh. Even with a fully charged MNKE IMR 18650, I get absolutely zero juice burning.

I have been sitting here thinking (rare for me) think that is.
All this stuff about wire and mesh, I have 30g and #500 on order now and a lot of it I'm beginning to wonder why! as I am getting a good vape with 32g and #400. Is this called keeping up with the Jones's? I guess once the stuff arrives and I get to play I may find out if its been worth the money time and effort:confused:

You will be glad you did once you made your first coil with it :). Got 28 and 30 awg here, 30 been my favorite mainly because i used my DID's on provari, it cant handle those real low ohm coils. That 26 awg is redicoulasly thick lol, look the gap between 1st and second nut haha. I gonna have to try some on the Poldiac. Nice to see Rick keep pushing the limits to.

Your not the only one - I did the same. 500 and 30G - I went back to 32 G and 400 mesh - those I like the best of all.

Great tutorial RW, this will help all the new owners - and great pics I see you have posted - Kudos to you - my thoughts exactly on the Poldiac

Im excited for you. It comes all together. Remember the contact adjustments are reverse threads. Take top cap off. Screw did on all the way turn adjustment screws about 1/3 out then screw top cap on. Put battery in. Vape Later you can adjust everything to make it look pretty. If you have time between vapes.
It would look something like this
