I haven't even been browsing the other new toys on the market of late. For a few months I was studying them all, but now I'm like bleh. NOTHING compares to Jim's products and service! (well, with the exception of the Roller as close contender.) But, I'm finally "content" and I don't even have my Poldiac or Temon yet lol. Living vicariously through the rest of youze until I order mine is satisfying in and of itself.

Nah......try cleaning up after dinner, doing the laundry, if you have kids then give mommy a day off to relax, um mm......vacuum the floors, do the grocery shopping.....in 1 week she will let you have ANYTHING you want

Hell... I'm having a hard time convincing my wife I NEED a Poldiac for my burpday coming up in a few weeks. Maybe a few back massages and foot rubs are in order.

I got my Topfin airstones, so here are a few pics of my Standard DID/18500 Poldiac with matte accents running a porous ceramic wick and a 3/2 wrap of 30g kanthal a-1. So far, flavor is top notch (as good or better than mesh and much better than silica), TH is moderate (i'd say a 5 or 6 out of 10), but the wicking isn't great (i'd say 4/10). My current coil might be a little bit too hot, but I think that it'll start vaping a lot better if I add a few wraps or switch to 32g. I'd also like to try drilling a 1-1.5mm hole down the center of the wick, but that's going to be a little tricky to pull off with the tools I have access to.

Bugger it ! I'm so damn in love with Jim's handiwork, I'm thinking to get the Poldiac AND the Temon. Due to the expense(not complaining! These are great products and the overall value is excellent.), am wondering if the Temon D16 atty is sufficient to use on the Poldiac until some newer models come out (Apollo and/or HyDID) ??? Or does the DID somehow "accessorize" better? I saw Jim's pics...looked like DID had brass pants on! B/C the Temon comes with the D16 included. I know it's 4mm narrower than DID, but if it works the same, it gets me 2 great setups, and I can save the additional drachmas for a newer DID when they come out.
Additional questions:
1) I'll go with MNKE batts unless someone has complaints. Which batt sizes are best for the 2 units? I know of the 18xxx's, but saw a confusing post earlier about 26xxx's.
2) Can you stack 2 18350's ? Is there a benefit from it? In my Vamo, I get more power from a stack of 350's(8 volts) vs. 4.? with the 18650.
3) I'll probably pick up a kick at a later date, but am wondering if there is a safety fuse? device that would be a good idea. I've seen them, but know nothing. Don't want these little pipe bombs to ACTUALLY explode !
4) I intend to use every juice in the market. Can I assume that DID's work fine with various mixes of PG and VG (with a little tweaking of the wicks and coils) ?
5) Are there good smart-chargers that will fill up my batts without blowing them up?
I need input here. You guys are great. Thanks !

1) The batteries are all labeled YYXXX with YY being the diameter size in mm and the XXX being the length of the battery in mm.
For the Poldiac this means that you will need 18xxx batteries and for the Temon you need 14xxx batteries. the xxx part is dependent of the length of the tubes you choose.
2) This question I will leave open for Rick Wechsler or someone else to answer since I am still under the believe that stacking batteries is not safe.
3) There are several safety fuses you can use. I would prefer the resettable ones over the ones that work only ones.
4) I vape different juices going from 100% PG to 100% VG and anything in between. I have a wick at the moment that is basically ok with any of them.
5) I use a Pila charger. It does not over charge and charges very fast. I am very happy with it.
Feel free to ask more questions if this does not answer all that you want to know.

WooHoo!!! Website says my Poldiac and DID shipped!!! That was fast. 2 days and it's out the door. That's more than twice as fast as AIV mixes their juice to ship. Lol! Not that I'm complaining about AIV at all. Good things come to those who wait. So can't wait to get my hands on the Poldiac. Time to activate stalking mode.
Tried putting one of these in the Poldiac last night and they will not fit. They are a little bigger in diameter than a regular 18xxx battery.

If you want the beer to be cold, come over early and help me find the crate!
This will involve heavy lifting of all sorts of boxes and stuff in the garage to get to it!
