Thanks to all for the feedback about my question on the need to clean brand new contacts. I completely understand what Rick said about the threaded connections. That makes perfect sense and I've always kept them clean at all times on any PV I use. The one I'm still having trouble with is the silver contacts and internal contacts that never see the light of day. I'm not doubting what some say they have witnessed as far as a very noticeable difference after cleaning, I'm just having a hard time understanding how new silver contacts that have no visible tarnishing after a week or so of use, actually effects performance that much.
For example, I've had my Provari for over 2 years and had never cleaned the battery contact inside the unit until about a week ago. I couldn't see any tarnishing or corrosion or anything but figured I'd clean them just to see if it made any difference. After cleaning it, I couldn't see, hear, feel, taste or smell any difference at all. Now the outside positive contact yes. That is exposed to juice and dirt and all kinds of stuff that can bake on there and I clearly understand why that contact needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. But internal contacts? I just don't get it.
idk, maybe I'm just lazy but having to do a complete tear down once or twice a week to clean something that has no visible contaminates seems pretty extreme to me.
I just wanna vape, not clean.
What am I missing here?![]()
God will get you for that!Uma, is it there yet????![]()
haha, no tears of joy yet... just impatient tears, and those don't count.Did she say she was crying yet. lol. She cries a lot.

As far as I'm aware, it's typical routine for all mechanical mods. I'm lazy about it too, but I think it will become fast & easy once we've mastered it. Learning curves suck, but the Poldiac will be worth it, of that I've no doubt. Just like the mastering of the RBA was so worth it! I feel so sorry for all those vapers still going through dry hits with their new improved V2,987 nova's and what nots. Thanks to all for the feedback about my question on the need to clean brand new contacts.
