My Poldiac and Temon are already in Germany and *might* make it to Portland tonight (I ordered at 6am Friday morning).

Special thanks to Elias for all the assistance on my order! I was kind of a high maintenance customer and was very much accommodated.

EDIT: Pooh! UPS says Wednesday. Still a fantastic turnaround.

Well I braved it......dismantled and cleaned my switch. A whole lot easier than my roller (which has been in time out since I spent several hours trying to upgrade). I love the simplicity of tube switch. I also changed out her clothes.....she is wearing a nice silver satin pajama set. Can't decide if I should let the shiny brass oxidize and build an aged patina.....or keep it polished.
It still amazes me how long my battery is lasting in the Poldiac ..... I vaped the same battery all day and still it is hitting great. I LOVE my poldiac.

Thank you Jim.

Once you see how it goes together it really is easy-peasey :)

I had the same epiphany with batteries but needed to re-learn when to charge. With ultra-LR setups on the DID, I get a great hit even when I've run my batteries down further than I like. Only happened once - I ran a batt down to 3.0v (I don't like going below ~3.5v) so now I swap at timed intervals.

"Compatible with battery without Nipple" it says in big, red bold letters at the bottom of the Temon web page.

Does this mean exclusively?

I have a Temon on the way, ordered 2 14500 AW IMR batteries which arrived today and they have nipples. My friend's Temon works with "flat top" batteries and would not work with a nippled battery, but he had both so wasn't too concerned about making any adjustments or fiddling with it any further.

I do have flat top 14650 batteries, so at least I will be able to use 1 battery tube when the full set arrives if I have to wait for new flat-top 14500's to be ordered. Are there any brands/types/suppliers recommended (or recommended to avoid)? My 14650s are EFest IMR from Avid Vaper.

Thanks!

Thanks!

No worries, Jim has you covered. Both the Temon and the Poldiac have adjustment screws so both type of batteries will work.

I got home yesterday morning, checked for any vapemail.........nothing!!

I went for a shower then got to bed (could not sleep on the airplane!).............I woke up about 2 in the afternoon, the wife said that I got a parcel delivered while I was in bed.

The Poldiac came....woo hoo. what a timing! THANKS JIM.

I use Efest 14500 with Nipple in my Temon they perfectly fit into it and no problems.

Ok Im in love.
I few over seven hours yesterday then road 4 plus on my motorcycle to get home at 2 am. My wifey kisses me goodbye before going to work at 6 am this morning. So what do I do. Get up and clean my poldiac ( hat lady method. ) she worked hard for me for 4 days. It was the least I could do for her. I keep her in my favorite stand all the time.
That would be my hand. ( I think my Johnson thinks I traded him in for a new model ) lol.

Sorry to hear you're having problems upgrading the Roller. Mine went surprisingly smooth, via watching Todd's video and the Support page at Atmizoo. Manos hangs out at the Roller thread here at ecf often, and would be more than happy to help you through your particular stumbling blocks.
With that said, I still haven't braved cleaning my Poldiac switch lol. I need to do so too, it's giving me intermittent dead hits. wahhh. I must get this done. I miss the pure hit every time and know that if I clean it, I'll get it back. Looks like I'll be spending time today watching Rick's video again. :)

The poldiac is easy...no spring and no tiny balls to ping across the room. I will tackle the roller again this week sometime (haven't looked at any videos but will certainly look at one because I only have 1 ball bearing left to ping). Have all my atties running so well that I don't need to tinker.
