Got my ribbon wire today. 1st attempt 3/4 on #500 Shortie DID = 1.1ohm (Kanthal D Ribbon resistance heating flat wire 0.6*0.1mm / .024*.004). I reused a seasoned wick (about 3 weeks old) so no issues at all with hotspots. Makes tons of vapor but the flavor isn't there yet and doesn't heat up as quick as my 2/3 of 28awg (will run for a day or so and then take off 1 wrap and see what I get). Only way I could get it to not twist was to wrap with the wick out.

Nice calculator but it is missing one thing that, for me, is very important. You should be able to adjust the PG/VG % of your nic base.
Actually, it wouldn't even install on my computer. Oh well.

. I'm back to chicken flavor. I love the stuff. I tried straight pg. It way to much hit and much less body. Also my usage wet up 50% for me I think I was needing to take much longer drags. Way to thin for .8 ohm coil. Imo Back to 50/50 is 10% nic ish. I do add just 2 drops per 100 mil of the flavor apprentice. With my tw tobacco at about 5%

If you happen to own an android smartphone, you can go to play store and get E-liquid calculator app for free. I believe there would be similar app for iphone as well.
