Congrats to everyone getting their new Poldiacs!:thumb:

Well it's home. I couldn't just leave it sitting all alone in a warehouse. This is my first mod and it's smaller than I thought it be. The storm here was no where near as bad as they said it be. 9 - 10 inches.

Thanks a lot Jim, great piece of work.

Isn't funny? Everyone makes them look soooo big in the pics. I find the Poldiac to be surprisingly compact yet still has a nice solid/heavy feel.

We're getting some snow (I love it when it's snowing) but they've already down graded us to just a couple inches expected :(

It always looks larger in the photos. It's comfortably smaller. The18650 tube is smaller. The 350is tiny as hell, but a great pocket mod. And this is built solid. Like a brick ship house. :D

I don't know what y'all are talking about mine is pretty big

I had never seen a mod before or an rba in person. My zau came in yesterday and the small size surprised the hell outa me. Everything looks huge in the videos. Then was shocked by the small size of the poldiac. It's perfect. And the zau and the poldiac is damn good looking.

Posting here and in the album because I just have to show these babies to everyone. :D I plan to get a matching rba, but using what I had. One matches better than the other. :p

Scored #098 and #325.

Here's the goods after unboxing... just waiting for me to remember my lego skills. Nice touch on the packaging btw.

I decided to mix the clothes up a bit and see how these look. Trying to go for a look that hasn't been done yet (e.g. Uma, Cloud Wizard, etc.), even though I have enough parts to make all 4 of the best sellers. :D I think I may have to order another brass shirt soon.

Poldiac #098 - Brushed Caps and Button. Polished Body Tube. Polished Classic SS Shirt - Polished Brass Pants (18650 Mode)
Poldiac #358 - Polished Caps and Button. Polished Body Tube. Polished Slotted Brass Shirt - Brushed SS Pants (18350 Mode)

Oh and as for the names, Methyx was my handle from 20 years ago, morphed into Envithyx later on.

EDIT: Tried to get some decent shots, but the more I look at the real thing vs what shows in the pictures, the more I realize that it just won't happen. Looks incredible in the hand! :D

Question.

Anyone using their poldiac with a ac9?

I have two and neither seem to fit. It's like the 520 threads are too big.

Just curious if others are having this issue.

Thanks!

I had trouble screwing my AC9 on also, it was from the second batch that had lots of delays & it seems they were in a rush to get them out. The threads on my AC9 were rough & still had some metal shavings i had to clean off! I just took my time & gently screwed/unscrewed them till I got a tight fit. Others have suggested using a small amount of vaseline on the threads, I did not need to.

Atlantis interesting thread but to be honest here i'm not worrying about it .
Bj's post #33 describes me at 2pad but only for 40 years myself instead of his 50 years and all sort of crazy thing inhaled during the early 70s.
Yup me and older brother used to break them thermometers and roll the mercury across the tables like playing soccer with our fingers.

I was vaping silica for a good year then saw with my jewelers eye piece minute shards of it in the mouth piece.

Currently have 8 sheets of 12x12 500 mesh and if i like the ceramic wicks better i will use up the mesh first by then i figure the ceramic wicks will be cheaper.
Course there might be something that's bad in the ceramic who knows .
Meh im going to enjoy the rest of my time and not worry im not young anymore. lol

Hope this does not come of as being a smart Alec as that is not my intention. ; )
