I dont know you people but take my Poldiac/Gemini everywhere I go! sometimes the DID/Provari and Poldiac/Gemini in 18650 mods.LOL
Those Chino ego-twists (bought for b/up only) havent been use at all! I might use them to convert my neighbour/friends into vaping.

I gave away a pair of KGO VV's to a couple guys at the pub over Christmas holidays. We call that "paying it forward" :thumb:

Hey guys,

How do you maintain the brushed finish on the brass pants and shirt? I polished mine with metal polish, and now I can't tell which one was brushed and which one was polished. Was thinking of spinning the pants and using a fine wire brush to get the texture back. Am worried though that too much material might come off. Any advice?

Thanks!

I think you could try 1200 grid wet and dry sand papers or finer grid.
correct me if I am wrong! Guys and Gals.

Best I've found is to clean my satin "clothes" with nothing more than a wet paper towel or cloth (I just use water).

I am in my office
I have some samples in front of me for quality check
I have to say this, hoping people can understand the difficulty of this!
The finish is hand made so the results that comes to the customer is from check and buffer, and repeating this till we are OK to sent it!
This is very hard and need time!
At the same time we try to cuch the orders!!
I have to run now
Thank you

will try this out - am a bit worried about the amount of brass that will come off though.

hey CW, this for steel or brass clothes? For my steel ones, I do like you and results are great, but for brass in the tropics like the Philippines, where I'm from, the polish lasts only for one day due to the humidity and unavoidable sweat in my hands :-( so polishing the brass has to be a regular thing...

I've tried to set my DiD up with unoxidized mesh today.
Had a little hotspot problem, but got it to work eventually. Superb taste and vapor, but only for 4-5 seconds at a time. 'll Just try a little more, so it will become perfect.

Setup=400 mesh, twistet 0,20 3/2 coil

Anyone have experience with unoxidized mesh in DiD? would be great with a little help to achieve perfection.

Link to a video, ikarus hybrid, unoxidized mesh and unisolatet ikarus.

There is nothing you can do for brass except polish it when it starts to tarnish. To get back the look of brushed, checkout various videos on youtube before attempting anything.

My Caravela came brushed SS. I have to have everything clean and shiny at all times, so after a couple times of polishing it up, it is somewhere between brushed and shiny, never to look totally brushed again because I wont fiddle around with the finish.

I tried brushing a drip tip, didnt turn out too bad, but I dont care for how it looked well enough to do that to a pv.

You might want to protect yours in your humid envirornment with a clear J-wraps vinyl. They aren't sticky coated, won't leave a residu when removed. http://www.jwraps.com/

ROFL!! Well, that person wasn't alone... Before the video, I was anxious enough to puke and I'm sure that person was too. Even with the written tutorials, it was ... stressful to visualize.... especially with talks about magnets flipping, pieces flying, glue, all mixed in with our imaginations. But those are "part 2" video.. right? pretty please part 2 . :)
Nope, Still a dirty gal. I have to wait til tomorrow for the glue.
wait, I don't need the glue.
When do I need the glue???? at self
