Hold each piece up to your computer screen. One will be easier to read text through. That is the coarser mesh.

LOL, I can't tell the difference no matter what. I keep my #500 separate and just leave all the original supplies in their little packages in a drawer

It's a very dark brown...would match your hat!!

Just be warned NOT to throw away the wooden parts the Poldiac is shipped in.
As you can see, they make perfect supports!! :)

By the way, Miriam, did you recognize the background of the first picture??

hmm no I do not recognise the background.
btw my favorite Hat is black ;-)

I felt the same way my first day but the second day it tasted awful, like burnt metal. I sextuple torched the wick and there were no hotspots. The wick should last more than a day, right? Could it be the juice? It's Frisco from Vapor Station.

Brigit, what size cigar tubes are you using? I see they come in sizes that accept 52, 54 and 56 ring gauge cigars. I'm assuming that you are cutting the cigar tube and using the metal tube with leather wrap as a replacement for the pants of the Poldiac? If someone has digital calipers, could you measure the outer diameter of the battery tube?

taking baby steps with it, currently rocking a 1.8 ohm at 5 volts on my provari with gamel from alien visions, it really gives a texture to juices. hard to believe i actually thought that clone was good when i got it but holy cow that thing is like a cigalike compared to these things. might have to order me some 8 mg juice for it so i can chain vape it. 24mg i only need about 2 to 3 hits an hour.

wick is doing good too got a dry hit and filled it up with 3.5 ml of juice which i'm guessing is an accurate full capacity

If it tastes like burnt metal, you have a short somewhere or the wick is pinched and not wicking good.SS wicks will last for weeks if not months
I torch my wicks for about 30 seconds on each side(get the edges real good),roll it,torch it for about 20-30 seconds again, install it,wrap it and vape it.

I usually rewrapthe coil somewhere between 1 and 2 weeks but keep using the same wick for months

Most likely wick not wicking ie wrong mesh high VG content, coil turns vs amps and volts, could be anything read through this great thread and learn by example. One thing for sure is that it isn't the fault of the DID! human error being the main problem, just read up on some advice and you will soon get things working right. And wicks when correctly made will last many weeks if looked after. My current #500 wick is starting week 9
