I need a little help please... all of a sudden my full size DID is showing and open circuit. OP on the Provari. No matter how I coil it. I've taken it apart, cleaned it and it still says OP. Is there something here that I may be missing? I'm coiling it like I always do. There are no breaks in my wire. Coil after coil reads OP. Any ideas? Thanks!

The guys will be along shortly to help you. In the meantime, I have to ask if your center tube that the center positive post goes in to is dry as a bone?

well... it might not be.. I guess that makes a difference? I've been messing with it and found that if the bottom nut on the pos post is screwed down all the way snug is when it shows OP. If I loosen it it will fire. But when I loosen it and then try to tighten down the top nut when I attach my wire, the bottom nut tightens up also. I'll take it back apart and make sure it's dry.

Edit.. I made sure the center tube was dry. Now it's working great again! I guess that was my problem, Thanks so much! I wasn't really worried, I knew if had to be something up with the pos post but I didn't think of that.
Thanks again! :D :vapor:

Got my 14650 Temon set yesterday, I can't leave it alone since! MAD vapor production! I went though the market blowing a lot of clouds today, haha. I might have to get another Temon battery holder for my D14 because those e-go twist can't keep up with the mini DID! Thanks Jim for a MAD product.

Hey Brigit, did you ever get that cool refill bottle thingie from Janty? If so, how are you liking it?

I use them since I started vaping. Discovered them by accident when I bought my first ego-set ;)
Loved them from the start, but by the time you realy need them, going into RBA, it's not a shop one frequents a lot.

Best about these compared to the needle-tops is they close the rest of the fillerhole.
So with a steel tank, you can go on filing untill the liquid comes out at the wick.
With a needle, the liquid sometimes comes out of the fillerhole before the tank is full.
And if it works with the mini, it works with everything :)

I'll make you a photograph, have to make a new wick anyway...

got this mini running beautifully today, the issue was my wick, it just wasn't straight enough and kept shorting out when i put the cap on, the coil was good but i decided to recoil it anyway and got a nice 1.4 ohm. wicking 100% vg nicely and hitting like a champ.
still learning and i must say, the difference between these and the so called "clones" is ridiculous, very much worth the money

 Glad to hear you have it working!!!
That's quite strange about the nut having to be lose on the bottom. Mine has to be pliers tight, to avoid any liquid seepage inside, and also to avoid it twisting and turning at all. But, like they say, we're all different! :)

I just ran across it on my wishlist again, and now for sure will pick one or two of them up. Thanks for the recommendation!

I must have gotten some liquid in the center tube and that was what was happening. And then when I washed it, there was still some moisture in the tube. The bottom nut is now tight and it's working fine. So it wasn't that it had to be loose.. I don't know. But it's dry and working now :)

Is there a link for the refill bottles. My needle tip bottles make a mess when the liquid comes back up the fill hole while filling.

Also, for those that own both the standard and mini DID.. is the draw the same on both? Or is it stiffer? Thanks!

I have to slap my forehead here, had I have had one more cup of coffee in me, I would have figured that part out lol. All is well and that's the main thing. Glad that was all it was. :)

The draw on the Mini is a tad tighter than the D20. For me it's perfect. It's not too tight and not too airy. Just right.

I hope Brigit posts the link again, cuz I have it from notepad and it doesn't transfer to posting nicely, but here it is:

15ml Empty Bottle

Jim, I was wondering?

Now, you guys in Greece, I can tell that there are many there that "LOVE" vaping, and talented people (like you) that love to put out there high quality / cutting edge MODS and Atty's. When I found out about Genesis atty's, I knew I wanted to get one and try them out. But everyone I found selling them "NEVER" had any in stock and still don't. I looked for at least 6-8 months and DIDn't want to be put on some waiting list. So, when I found you and your website, and that you were selling like mad and had plenty in stock, I was ecstatic and ordered one right away. I was so excited, I even went on the other Genesis mod threads on ECF where everyone was waiting a for a LONG LONG time for their products, and told them about your thread and website, only TO BE REPRIMANDED and have my posts deleted. This was all last summer.

I also got from the classifieds here a Steam Machine made by another Greek Modder. I love it too, like I love my DID. Now I wanted to get one more silica wick mod and have the ultimate vaping trio: DID, Steam Machine and Penelope. All from Greece, and maybe Greece will make me an honorary Greek.

But, Guess What? There are no Penelope's available, only waiting lists.

Why cant others be a go getter like you? Thank you for being on TOP of things. We need more like you.

As far as the OP on the Provari, after several months of use I got the same thing on my Provari, I took a really good look at the positive post after assembly and then took it apart again and added a very tiny O ring in edition to the original insulator to fill the space that was left to allow the positive post to protrude about 0.5mm from the connector and that fixed it for me. Sometimes the insulator over time will compress and the center pin is allowed to go ever so slightly too far into the connector. a small spacer or a new insulator can correct this easily.

Hope this helps out :D

Also .......

HI EVERYONE!!! Been busy on the ship lately and had to spend a few hours cleaning out a nasty bilge so I definitely had to shower with a brillo pad when I got home this morning :D

Hope everyone is having a great weekend :D
Sincerely;
Nate

@ the Gemini person whose Gemini's tank was too small around. (and for future buyers). The tank will seem too small, but it isn't. You just have to put it together in a different order than you did. You probably tried to slide the tank up to fit the top base of the atty right? If you did that, it won't slide, trust me. Take it apart, put the tank onto the bottom base nice and snug tight, and now twist your top base onto the tank. Voila! It screws right in together. :)

P.S. Hi Nate!

HI UMA!!! :D Hehehe Yep! The Gemini does indeed go together a bit differently than the DID but it is a Beautifully Crafted and The ULTIMATE Performance based Atty. For my Tastes it is crafted Perfectly in every way. Perfect Juice capacity, top cap chamber is perfect for heat, flavor and vapor and to my eye it just looks EPIC!

Sincerely;
Nate
