Oh my goodness, Jim you devil...just checked again and landed a 'Cloud Wizard Poldiac'...you must have been reading my mind that was the exact one I wanted too. Oh my, I am beside myself with joy!

I landed a Standard DID too. It just made my vaping budget for the month, had to settle for a defective DID, but its all good I am so happy!

Jim is very picky. I'm would be surprised if you can find the defect. Let us know what it was. .

On the vaping budget, I've found that I actually save a lot more $$$ buying "premium" MMV products that last for ever than I ever did getting "nickle & dimed" with lesser products. Your Poldiac and DID combo will literally last you a life time...

hey all
got my first DID and im really satisfied
problem is, that now i will need to buy more of them :D

LOL, need or want? I still have my very first "un-serial numbered" standard sized DID in rotation and she vapes just as good as the day I got her. On the the "want" side of needing more, Jim's an artist and we'll for ever be chasing the the next cool idea he puts in our hands...

VERY radical. I need to see more of it before I decide if I like it. I imagine it will dissipate heat very quickly!

I keep going back to the pics and am trying to picture the finished product. I love the hybrid look (matched side lines) but the grooves may need to grow on me a bit. Definitely has caught my interest...

I love my Temon but found the brass upper contact spring a little weak (battery rattled a bit). I took a spare and tightened it on a 15ga blunt tip needle by hand and threaded it right inside the spring already installed. Doubled-up - no rattle - stronger hit. I think springs may always be a weakness in any circuit and having more tension and brass in the path seems to make a nice difference (like doubling up the Poldiac bottom spring)

I totally agree with this. I only buy cartos and cheap units as 'pay it forward' starter kits.
I have many 'premium' rebuildables but you will always see me carrying a DID, it is so reliable, I can throw it in my pocket or purse ant not have to worry abut leaks, also using the ribbon kanthal has decreased the amount of cleaning I have to do. My daily vape white peach DIY wick and coil is on week 5 with not a scrap of cleaning. Another of my dids is on week 3 with 50/50 mix strawberry and vanilla cream. I also love my poldiac.
I am looking forward to the hydid for the increased tank size.

With the Temon, I stretched the spring a bit fixed the rattle.
I use the taller panasonic batteries on Poldiac! tight fit! It needs to be pushed in and out of the 18650 tube, got to remove sticker from battery first.

Oh I am in complete agreement with this statement! Listen, I am not one of these guys that buys a device and turns around and sells it. I use it until it breaks to the point where I cannot fix it then it becomes part of my collection, if you will, call it sentimental value and appreciation for the modder's hard work artistically. With a vaping budget of 300$ a month I am very picky in what I purchase as it not only is a vaping tool but I also consider myself a collector of fine devices.

Considering I settled for a less than perfect DID standard did not mean I got something less than perfect due to cosmetic flaws, if you know what I mean. Nothing against the reviewer types that do buying and selling to keep up with reviewing cause thanks to them I get a good perspective on what may be my next purchase.

Since I am pretty new to the game, I have a long way to go upping my vaping collection and Jim's products shines with quality no two ways about it.

I just hate lists for products, I get it, but none the less I hate em. Probably why my signature list shows a few missing items that I would normally already have.

Hey DID guys.
Planning to buy the D20. Any recommendations for a mechanical mod that would look good with the D20?
Low voltage drop with sub 1ohm coils would be essential.
Any Poldiac would look great with the D20, this mod is fantastik and is perfekt for LR coils.
My BTO with polished topcap, butomcap, button and satin tube, pants, shirt looks great with the satin D20 on top. I use 0,8 ohm coil and it hits like a freight train. Keep up to date on stock at the MMV facebook page.

LOL I agree with ya on that one Tony. I just took a peek at that other mod and Jim's Poldiac blows it out of the water not only with it's esthetics but with its components and functionality. IMHO of course. ;)

Howdy fellow DiDer's! I haven't gotten over here in a while. Hope everyone is doing well.

I broke my baby D14 last week and my parts arrived yesterday but those evil UPS people took them with them. :glare: My god do I miss my little baby. :(
