I think I have a problem, I preordered the poldiac 6 days ago...I know it says 15 days until it ships, but I literally check my order 10 times a day hoping for a status update haha

Consider yourself lucky to not be ordering during the days of 4 weeks in Customs...
I currently have 0.7*0.1MM ribbon wire and 3 wraps gives me about 0.9ohms. If I want 0.7ohms, what ribbon wire should I order?

Received your mail today. Thank so much! I immediately assembled the DID, rolled a nice mesh wick, and whipped on a 5 wrap coil that metered out @ 1.5Ω. All I can say is WOW!
I can see why people spend the money on MMV products. Makes me want to toss my Chids & Chobras into the trash. Not that they don't vape well... BUT the quality of construction, and the ease of set-up of the DID cannot be denied.

How did you preorder? It won't let me add anything to the cart that's not in stock and I see nothing about preorder.

They had some of their stuff up with a 15 day lead time. It all shows out of stock now.

Bumps, congrats on your purchase. You have a condition called MMV fever. There is no known cure, the only thing you can do is keep it in check by purchasing a new MMV product occasionally.
Hi NGM, I am using .6 @ 3 x 2 wraps giving me 0.9 in reality though its more like 2.5 x 2, reckon if I left 1 turn off it would be around 0.7.
One thing for sure this ribbon just keeps on going both my coils get dry burned every couple of days, should have ordered maybe a foot of the stuff I can't see myself using 15m. matches the DID and Poldiac perfectly Indestructible.
I've emailed my resume for a job that I am interesting in! Hope that I get this job. I am so sick of being out of work!

Well you could try 0.8. You must be wrapping a very fat wick if a 3/2 of 0.7 is giving you 0.9Ω. My wicks are as fat as the wick hole and I get between 6.5 and 7.8Ω.

Question for you Ribbon users out there. I've been holding off from trying this and can't take it any longer so I want to order some.
I have read that the Ribbon wire doesn't "hit" or act like the equivalent round wire in that Ribbon can be run at a much lower Ω than you normally run at. Is this correct? With the juice I use everyday I like my Ω's to be around 2.2 to 2.4 running 32 ga Kanthal.
What would be the suggested Ribbon size based on this info?

Hey Vap, best I've come up with is some comparisons against known resistance tables. YMMV but here's what I'm going by:
0.3x1.0 -> ~33awg
0.5x1.0 -> ~31awg
0.6x1.0 -> ~29awg
