I've no doubt that this has been asked and answered before, but my forum searching skills fail me badly today, sorry.

I've recently obtained a GGTS from another user (I think he posts on here) and I'm getting a bit of an issue.

Using a 510 atomiser screwed in to the standard atomiser connector on the TS the draw is far too light compared to using the same atomiser and cart on my Tornado/eGo, GD passthrough or Little Gem. There's quite an airflow noise and while there's plenty of vapour it's far too thin and tasteless. I've tried several freshly charged 14500 batteries and an 18650 so it's not battery either.

Am I missing something obvious in setting up the TS or is it part of the character of the device and 510 vaping is basically a bust on it?

I use 510's on my GGTS most of the time. It is probably that the center pin on the cap is to far up so that you can not screw the atomizer on well enough. Try pushing the pin down then screwing on the atomizer. BTW, it could also be the opposite..that the pin is to far down and not making good contact.

I have to adjust the pin when I change from 901's to 510's. :)

When you first attach the atomizer make sure you have the GGTS unscrewed, the pin should be flush with the bottom of the atomizer connection. Attach your atomizer and slowly tighten the GGTS. You can push the button and drag on the atomizer while you do this, and as soon as you get vapor stop tightening. That's the instructions I read when the TS was first released, I believe Vapn posted them. See how it is when you do that. Also read the cleaning thread. The threads can get juice and tarnish in them creating a poor electrical connection and causing reduced performance.

Ant_Isis thanks for the suggestion, but I had tried that and just re-tried, same effect, draw too light for satisfactory vaping.
I'm now wondering where I can find some kind of O ring. Wood_510 I assume you're suggesting positioning it over the small vent holes on the multi adaptor? That will be quite a challenge (assuming I can find one) as I'd have to do it with the adaptor screwed into the top cap all the way.
Thanks for the suggestions guys.

510 on GG breaths from 2 holes. Center hole and the holes around its diameter. 901 breaths the same way, 801 too. I have no issues with any of those atomizers and I have no complain till now Tyke my friend.

But if you still think that you want help with this then you can put 3 o-rings with 9mm internal diameter and 2mm width, the one on the other inside the channel of the back cap between connector and cap's walls. Its very easy because the second o-ring will push the first one and the third o-ring will push the second one. Dont forget to put atomizer on the connector first and then put the o-rings from the mouthpiece down to the connector so job will be done very easy :)

ggero, thanks for the idea, but I've tried several atomisers and they all work absolutely fine on my Little Gem, and Tornado.

I've just cludged an O ring by snipping a bit off the open end of a 510 cart cap (the silicone bit) and with a bit of careful positioning the draw is pretty much as I'd expect on another PV. It's workable but far from ideal, I'd prefer a properly engineered solution.

Is it possible to get a new or different multi adaptor for the GGTS without the 4 vent holes or a small brass sleeve that screws down the outside of the adaptor to close off the vents?

Imeo I'm not complaining, I'm making the assumption that as I'm new to the GGTS that I'm doing something wrong.
On examining (by just unscrewing the whole multi adaptor out of the end cap) the adaptor there are 4 vent holes very neatly drilled through the adaptor half way between the top of the nut and the top of the thread.
Can you suggest somewhere in the UK that I can get those O rings? Or the type of place that usually carries that sort of thing at the least?

Ok Lisa, thanks for that, I didn't know that you supplied them, can I PM at 14 posts or would it be better to PM on UKvapers?
Thanks for the tip of coming here btw :D as always vapers are great at providing hints, tips, tricks and friendly advice.

Edit...

PM sent and help gratefully accepted, another example of great customer support for vaping products :)

This minor issue aside the GGTS is a thing of engineering beauty, I'm almost ashamed to get my finger prints on it :)

No worries Tyke. I posted them to you today and I hope they provide a bit of a better solution for you. Glad to have been able to help and I recommended you ask the question on this forum originally because I knew you'd get the best help here. :D

Hi, I'm in the same boat as Tyke, finding the draw too light and airy on my GGTS with both 510 and KR808 cartomizers (using the re-threader). I covered up 2 of those 4 holes with blue-tack (that sticky stuff for sticking up notes, etc.) but I'd like a more "engineered" solution as well. Wouldn't the o-ring solution be an all-or-nothing one? I'd only like half the holes covered :)

If you put only one oring the job will done ella my friend. Just dont push the o-ring inside the channel that is around the connector. Only put it on top and then screw the carto, so o-ring will stay exactly at the place you want. And dont put an 9/3 oring because it will close the holes almost totally. Please put a 9/1,5 oring so air will still pass:)
