I like what Rosa said as well... she is the best at giving advice to us new folks.

I have the tank, and still using it as the tank, but I also know that I could try a lot of different things as she mentioned using this same system. The batteries last me all day ( well the 1000mah one does ) and the 650's last my wife all day. I have been very tempted to try a cartomizer... just to see.

She is also right that we don’t want to scare people away from any one system, I have been kind of down on the more cigarette looking e-cigs... maybe I need to just let that go too, if those are working for someone, then they are working for them and we should be happy it is working for them.

I went the route of buying the ego (which I love) then purchasing the tank after it came out. It wasn't out when I purchased my kit. There are bugs in it but if it works it's fabulous.

You can do either of two things-

Purchase the ego-T starter kit and purchase some cartomizers (you get the huge batteries). Or purchase the ego kit and also purchase a couple tank attys and tanks. It works out to be about the same. Only difference is, with the regular ego kit you don't have the huge batteries. Although my ego batteries last about 8 hours, the ego-t battery lasts about a day and a half.

the 650mah are about the same length as the standard 510, the 1000mah are about an inch longer than that. Both are relatively the same thickness as a sharpie pen.

You can get the eGo-T kit (and the regular eGo kit) with either the 650mah or the 1000mah -- not everywhere, but some places.

The 650mah will probably last the average vaper about 8-10 hours, the 1000mah usually last about 12-14 hours (from what I've heard) depending on usage of course. I've heard of people getting a whole day on one charge with regular use.

Blow them out good... and then use a rolled paper towel to get as much out of the inside as you can.

Then I prime the wick with a drop of the juice I want ( might be overkill to do that ) before putting in a tank

I take the first 10 puffs for so without inhaling... just to get rid of the rest of the primer stuff.

Before I take an actual inhale.

Hello welcome to ecf - You will definately need more e -liquid. I highly recommend www.sweet-vapes.com I love them and they have awesome sample packs so you can try smaller amounts before you make a big investment. :) I get the majority of my other supplies from Vapor Kings and cig not. These are all very reputable suppliers best of luck to you :)

Well, i like ego-t but i must say i get much more flavor production from the cartomizers I ordered with it.. I just don't like that i cannot see how much is left until it runs dry.

Here are a couple of cheap options you can look into.....

see-through cartomizers... but you may want a syringe to fill them (don't need one but it makes it way easier).
510 XL CLEAROMIZER 2.4-2.6 OHM

a little tank for your standard 510 atomizer (you'll need to get a standard, not tank, 510 atomizer for this).
GotVapes SmartCart 2.0 - .9ml ClearTube Cart for 510 Atty 5 PK [gotvapes-510smartcart1ml] - $4.99 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I was looking at the clearomizer the other day and it looks real nice. Having the wick completely submerged just makes more sense than how it is done on the ego-tanks. Thanks for the links darling =)

be warned: you do want to watch all the youtube videos about clearomizers. I bought some and liked them ok, they're hard to fill unless you use a syringe (not impossible, but hard) and I tend to get an odd plastic taste in mine but some people say if you do a good dry burn that won't happen.... I don't know. I will say that in addition to the odd plastic taste the flavor of my juice was VERY CLEAR and good and they gave me the most vapor clouds of anything I've tried before or since.
