i did too but serioulsy dont bother unless you want it only as a keepsake. i bought 2 and i've written the second into my will already as hopefully it will have some value in the future if it doesnt burn my house down by then. my battery crashed after 2 carts. the taste is puke but the most annoying thing that happened to mine was that the atomizer got jammed up in the cart and would not come out, when i tried to remove it forcefully i yanked the whole atomizer apart.

Got mine in the mail a few days ago (right after the hurricane down here).
The pros: Love the concept. A cigarette sized pack with built in charger and 7 refills is convenient to carry around. The size of the device is also great. It's tiny, and the closest to smoking a real cigarette as any e-device I've owned. It's unlikely to get many strange looks by passersbys.

The Cons: Hehe, everything else. Absolute crap product here. The foul taste of the cartridges can be compared to the smell of soiled wood chips from rodent cages with an aftertaste of burning chemicals. This was partially remedied by dripping some e-liquid down into the cartridge, At which point I thought it might be a nice little e-cig. I was getting good amounts of vapor, though I had to put a drop of e-liquid in it about every 7 drags, and the battery lasted for about 3 hours. This solution didn't last long. After about 2 days use, the atomizer has started to go, it looks like it is rusting! and there is a foul burning taste whenever puffed.

The only way I'd buy another one of these, or suggest it to others is if there was an atomizer included with every cartridge in the pack, and they improved the taste of the liquid. 16$ and some change didn't set me back much, but I could've bought a couple extra atomizers for my super cigarette which brings about 4 weeks of pleasant smoking, as compared to the pitiful 2 days of non-enjoyable smoking of this E Health Cigarette

Having successfully used the dealextreme 2 pack health cig ( The $30 or so dollar set discussed here and elsewhre on the forums ) for approx 3 months, I thought I'd give these a try. I decided to order 2 of these and received them a week or so ago.
One pack was DOA with a dead atomiser and has been returned for replacement - oh well, I thought, these things happen.

I was initially quite impressed with the working one. My work colleagues too, "more like a proper cig" in looks and balance than the others. The shorter length allows it to be held like you hold a real cig. Decent vapour production too. Looking good.

But whilst changing a cartridge, like dc2k08 before me, the cart stuck to the atomiser and the atomiser got ripped apart. Quite easily without any excessive force being applied.

It looks like there is a major quality issue with the atomisers on these, perhaps also the battery after reading reports from other posts here.

I have again returned the item for replacement rather than refund as I really do want these to work. They are a great idea and don't need to be of superior quality, say good enough to last a fortnight and then even at twice the price would make them an ideal "disposable" solution.

I saw some of video and it show much more vapor than how I smoke mine..

Any suggestions? I notice SmokeyJoe said he change this stuff inside the catridge and it solve the problem, I wonder if it's true?

Forget the cartridges. Empty one and use it as a mouthpiece. Drop two drops of e-liguid (you can also get it from the inside of the carts supplied with the e-cig) directly on the atomizer. Then - if your cig is not faulty and its battery is charged - it should produce quite a nice amount of vapour. Those things seem not to work with cartidges at all. My experience is with this: DealExtreme: $15.75 Electronic Cigarettes with Charger and 6-Refills Set (110V~220V AC) , but it might be also true for other of the Health brand. Useless for carts, good for dripping as long as they work.

Puyo, this entire unit is just not up to the minimum standard I now expect from an e-smoking device. Parts failed almost immediately, but I kept it going for awhile. Yes, I was able to drip liquid into the cart (just slide some down the side of the cylinder wall; one drop will do). But it cannot produce a decent amount of vapor, and isn't even a good placebo smoking substitute. I gave up on it long ago. Hopefully, a decent maker like Janty will offer something as convenient. As I said before, this is a great idea, poorly realized in the product being sold.

It works! I did get a good vapor, but I am not sure if it do anything good because once I get good vapor, the second one was okok, then third nothing..

I wonder if other e-liquid would work better than what I have with the ecigarette?

(NOTE: I have to delete the URL from the quote due to the numbers of my posts)

I see, allright I guess I will try to buy different brands.. I also guess that I now understand why it only cost me $25 while there are other that cost even more..

Ok, I've been using mine for over a month now and still going strong. I am a heavy user and I've been using my Health mini exclusively (seeing as I am broke). Four cleaning cycles later and still going strong! The only hard part is having to wait for it to charge because I only have the one device. I always make sure to bathe my atomize in 91% rubbing alcohol at least twice a week, and I do basic battery care. (ie Using up the battery fully before charging, and waiting until it's fully charge before using it again.)

From what I have been reading so far, these are definetly a "hit or miss" type of deal. I am very happy that I got a good one!

Edit: I forgot to mention that the vapor was amazing for such a cheap item! Of course, I am dripping JC. :)

Nobody ever claimed the carts work at all. They are only usable for dripping, so the size of liquid containers is really irrelevant. Many people say theors dies soon. My one survived and I cannot say its atomizer was insufficient. For dripping. The only complaint I had about it was the vapour being too hot (thus too harsh) for my liking. I never dripped any of my other devices precisely for this reason.

Hello everybody, I've just found this great forum, and have been reading every (well, almost every) post in here!

I've been using one of these things for about two weeks, and I've got a problem already described in this thread: the thing worked alright with the first cart (medium vapour, hard draw, almost flavourless), and I didn't need to smoke normal tobacco on the first day I used it. Then I changed the cart, and I had vapour on the first puf, almost nothing on the second, and nothing after that. Waiting about 5 minutes there was vapour again, but only at the first draw. Changed cartridges again, but had the same result. Reading Frankie's post, I extracted the liquid from one cartridge and dropped it directly into the atomizer, and SURPRISE: great amount of vapour, as the first time!
But it didn't last long also... Something like 10 pufs and nothing again.

So, Frankie: are you putting the liquid directly _into_ the atomizer hole, or in the /\ part (that's what I did)? I was afraid to break it by dropping directly inside...

Best regards,
Pedro.

(BTW, sorry if I didn't use the correct English terms for smoking, as English is not my first language).

No, it is exactly as you say, Pedro. Around 10 puffs per one dropping. It is similar amoubt to having one cigarette. After that you just put anothe couple of drops and puff away - or, which is better, have a break and return to vaping wjen needed.

I NEVER put liquid directly in the hole. I just soaked the wick (the protruding metal mesh tip) with a few drops. I cannot tell how many exactly, because I did not let them drop. I always touched the mesh with the drop before it fell away from the dropper. Several times. When I had the impression it is soaked enough (sorry, no science here, just impressions really) I placed in the empty mouthpiece and vaped. For me this was then just about the equivalent of 1 analog cig.

One thing, though: In spite of everything what is said around here these cheap things do work (at least for some people) and are not that bad really - but the DX liquid is *very* unappetizing. People tend to call it "cat urine flavour" and I tend to agree ;) So I would really recommend you to get some other liquid. The overall vaping experience will be dramatically better that way. Oh, yes, and with DX juice you also do not really know what strenght you are vaping, which is a quite useful thing to know.

Hello all, this is my first post here but I wanted to chime in.

This Health Mini Is my first E-cig. I am a hobbyist and tinkerer to the max and I feel I can offer some more info to you guys on this product.

I am drawn to this cig because of its cheap price and its small size along with the convenience of the charger/pack combo.

I have ordered 3, I have 1 and have been vapeing it for about a week now.

I must qualify everything in this post by saying that I have only briefly tried 1 other E cig, that being the Smoke anywhere model at a mall Kiosk.

I think you all should know is that the Carts that come with this cig have 0 nicotine.

I have some good fluid on the way that has flavor and nicotine so I look forward to trying that.

Next, the "wick" that brings fluid from the cart to the vaporizer is slow. When I let mine sit then take a drag ( see my technique below) I get a very strong hit that then tapers off very rapidly with each successive puff. I look forward to modifying this to bring more fluid to the coil.

WRT the "drag" temperament I have some great info.

1- Take your battery and look at the base of the threads... there are two very small holes that allow air into and up through the center of the part of the battery that goes into the atomizer... I had one of these small holes plugged up when I got min... I used a small wire to unplug it and got a much easier draw resistance ( too light in fact, more on that later)

2- Be sure to screw your atomizer on very tightly. You may have to clean off some gunk to get it to seat all the way.

3- This is the best part. Where the chrome ring is where the atomizer meets the battery there are two small slots opposite to one another on the ring. These let air in that then goes thru the small holes I talked about in item 1. A GREAT trick to puffing on this cig is to put it in your mouth and begin to suck. Put you fingers near that Chrome collar and rotate the cig until your fingers block the small holes. From there you can use your pointer finger to "carborate" the draw. This lets you cut off air completely, allowing the atomizer to heat up, then loosen your grip to the draw strength required. This take a small amount of practice but once you get the hang of it its second nature and you can really get a good smoking experience with this.

WRG the package coming apart... A few strips of properly placed Scotch tape will make it stronger than ever.

I am having no battery issues so far. My biggest complaint is no nicotine in the carts. They seem to have no flavor either. I will post back when I get some real fluid and tinker with my wick to get more fluid to the fire ( so to speak)
