First at all:

Hi, my Name is Peter, i'm from Germany and i'm new to the Forum. I vape since November last Year, i vape only MTL on a nautilus and a Subtank Mini, and there I already have a Question.

Sometimes the STM feels a bit airy for me, so i browsed the Web and found that there was an older Version of the STM with a 1-sided Airflow. Now i thought that 1 side = tighter than the new 2-sided. Is this thought true? And if yes is it possible to still get the old Base anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

Thats what I already did, and it felt ok, the problem is that i don't know how big the holes on the old ones are, cause if they are double the size then it would be almost the same i think
So maybe get some JB weld and permanently fill the holes?

Yes looks nice, think at this price i will try it, i was about to tighten the airhole under the Coil with cable end sleeves, but putting on a new base is so much easier

Wooden Tooth Picks can work wonders sometimes when it comes to Air Inlet Holes.
