The plan was one more trip to the smokeshop...to buy our original setup again, so we each would have 2 batteries. And we told dad we would get him an extra carton this time (because here in town it costs twice as much for cigs!) So our smokes money would be spent on only the set up. That set I linked to last night was only 6 dollars more and had more cartomizers and an extra battery, can't go wrong there!

Now our last trip to buy cigarettes will only to be buying my dad his two cartons. That way he has his backup if the Ecig doesn't work for him. And he also decided to get the set up we just bought. I cannot wait, I hope it makes a difference for him!

Hubby is insistent that he will not be buying anymore smokes. And he quit with chantix with no issues-I had the issues with it. So I think once he commits to this, it will be fairly smooth sailing. His biggest issue is the battery dying so he lights up another cigarette instead. Well, soon we will each have 3 batteries, no reason to ever have a dead battery now!

Btw, when you are smoking only 8 mg juice, it is a bad bad bad idea to dump in some 24 mg juice. It may result in a very shaky, dizzy feeling. Just saying! lmao Learned my lesson FAST

Oh that could be the problem. When I quit I used at least 24mg. It gave the the satisfaction and I was able to put the e-cig down. I still use 18mg at work and 12mg at home. I am still stepping down. But 8mg? Wow...in my opinion that is way low for a new non smoker. Oh and btw...Chantex did not work for me I had major issues too. I was pure evil.

Oh yes, nic overload will do funny things to you :) and did you see this?

can't remember if I showed it to you or not. Or this one for juices.

That will be your next big adventure, finding the right juice for both of you.
I'm happy for both (all three?) of you. Keep us updated :)

Honestly, the stepping down hasn't been a big issue for me. Started with the 24 mg cartomizers that came with my ecig. then I bought some 18 mg clove for me and 24 mg tobacco for hubby. He didn't like it, too "burny" in his throat (it is all PG based). Then I bought some mango at 12 mg and cowboy at 8 mg. Liked the mango, but only for once in awhile, not all day. however, LOVE cowboy flavor! So I have been smoking it more than anything all this week. Then yesterday, my sister said she needed a fill (she only had the original cartomizers from her set up, she bought the same 20 dollar one as us!) so I brought over the tobacco 24 mg...about out of cowboy and hubby smokes it better than the tobacco (although he thinks it is way too sweet) So when I needed to top off a bit, I used the tobacco on my cowboy cartomizer. And then last night I filled it completely with the tobacco. It caught up with me!

I think I may smoke a lil more often with the 8 mg-however I am not sure how much of that is needing the nicotine versus just loving the flavor. Yes, i am a dork. But my biggest issue is the habit of actually smoking. I did order some 12 mg this time around but kept the cowboy order at 8 mg. On my breaks at work, I puff 2 maybe 3 times and I am good. I am not constantly looking at the clock for how long of a wait I have until my break and I am actually eating on my break now instead of freezing my .... off outside. I said it somewhere else, maybe here even, but I am smoking less than I did on regular cigs by a long shot.

I don't know how accurate all the averages are of how much juice people use. But I have been smoking the same 5 ml bottle of the cowboy juice now since monday. I still have half of it left. And hubby has used some of it too. This will sound crazy, but I enjoy "smoking" now, it is yummy, a nice treat, not an OHMYGODINEEDASMOKE like before. So something must be going right :)

wow, I am long winded lately, i apologize! Just wanted to explain what I have been doing!

The flavor is a big thing for me too:). I have four pv filled with something different and I rotate. For your hubby you should get him some 70pg/30vg or even 50/50 mixed juice. There are some juices out there that are low on throat hit and higher in nic.....but...Taste on juices is subjective so I will not go there. I personally am a sweet vaper. I love gingerbread, vanilla cakes, ect...you get the picture.
