Hi! Just started vaping this week, got what I thought was a decent device, for what I know was a good price. What I want to know now is what thread type it is. I've done a bit of reading of the thread types, but the information is badly fragmented, and definitions seem different depending on where you go.

Here's hoping that somebody here can identify this:

It appears to be a 510 thread, from your pics and looking at the Victory site.

That would be a good thing as batteries and cartos would be easy to source
at 1/3 or less of the cost of Victory site.....

Check out the suppliers listed on the front of the forum, good prices and good
service or they would get raked over the coals here in the forum..

p.s. Welcome to ECF !!!

The 510 and NR4081 look very similar.

The 510 is 0.268" (6.8mm) and has very fine threads.

The NR4081 is 0.306" (7.8mm) and has coarser threads.

The 510 is not a common thread on a small battery and if it is used it is usually advertised as such, since it is a good selling point to have it compatible with so many devices.

Either way, you can purchase an adapter ($2 - $3) to match any battery to any device, once you know what it is, of course.

Relax, Enjoy!

Not having a caliper nearby, I'd say it's 6.8mm from the metric side of the ruler. I'm figuring that's diameter. :)

Seems like it may be 510 or that a 510 would fit anyway. The 510 threads are VERY fine.

Good Luck! Let us know. I wish we had a list of all these different makers and the threads they use.

Hi Trooper Sam. My vote goes to the RN4081. My first device was a4081, and i purchased what i thought was the correct atty(510) and it did look like it fit from everything I could gather at that time. My new atty came in and viola.... nope didnt scew in..... the first thread of the 510 when in about three quarters of a turn but that was it. My next purchase was a 510 and that was the begining of the rest of the story.
If you are looking for something to get you by then i would say your safest bet would be to get a 4081 to 510 adaptor like this 4081 Battery to 510 Atomizer Adapter and a pack of 3 ohm 510 cartos, this way if its either thread you are already covered. And dont forget to get some liquid to fill those cartos. Keep us posted as to what you find out. Its good info to have just incase someone else has the same issue in the future. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
