New here- looking to upgrade from cartos, need advice.....

Started vaping back in '09 but dropped it in in 2011. Starting back now. I have the SmokeTip batteries & cartos that I refill myself w/ 100% VG due to coughing problems I had with PG.
I want to upgrade to an eGo-style PV but NEED ONE THAT CAN HANDLE 100% VG.
I read that Joye, for instance, recommends no more than 30% VG or it will burn out the atomizers too quickly.

What is your experience-if any- with this?
I like the idea of the tank-type, but also read that clearomisers cannot handle 100% VG.
Would like to make the right purchase !!
???
Thank you!

VG liquids can work well in both top coil clearomizers and bottom coil, if the viscosity is right. By that, I mean that a thick liquid won't flow very well, so if your VG is a bit too thick, it should be diluted slightly with water, preferably distilled, to flow a little faster. Each setup is different, so you may have to do a little trial and error to get it right. If it's thin enough to flow in a carto, a clearo should not be a problem.

I don't find that VG liquids cause any issues with atomizers' lifespan, but sweeteners and darker liquids gunk them up faster.

Some Ego sized clearos that are pretty popular are the Kanger Evod, Vision Ego (aka CE4), Innokin Iclear 16 and the Kanger T2. Dual coil versions are becoming popular, but they will use power and liquid faster than single coil models.

Welcome back to vaping and ECF!

Thanks 440. (Cool avatar, btw!) I've been looking @ the Kanger EVOD. I have bought most of my juice from American eLiquid in the past & they sell this model. They custom blend juice for you too, but it been a couple of years & thier site seems a little messed up...(?)
The 100% VG I had stored in brown glass bottles is still good, and it is just thin enough that about 5 drops re-fills the carto & it vapes nicely.
It's just a pain in the *** to pop those little caps & gaskets off & re-fill, a tank would be more to my liking -plus the 180 batts don't hold a charge very long.
This is a great forum. You can learn alot here!
My best friend just started vaping as a means to get off real cigs (like me) & i sent him a link to this forum.
