Hello everyone, new to this forum and to vaping. I just ordered a green smoke starter kit. I've been smoking for about 3 years now and my university has implemented a no-smoking policy. I work for university housing where a large majority of us smoke. Our solution to the ban is vaping. Now there will be about 7-8 new e-cigarette users out here. I'm not sure what all the best models and stuff are, but if there are any suggestions for other models or information on the green smoke starter kit, I'd love to hear it! Thanks.

Welcome to ECF! My fiance and I started with Green Smoke, but were quickly unhappy with them. The batteries didn't last very long and the cartomizers were less than impressive. We kept them for a little over a week until our Riva kits came in the mail, then we sent the Green Smoke back for a refund.

I strongly suggest that you watch Mistress Nomad's videos:

I also strongly suggest that you reconsider if you smoke more than 3/4 of a pack per day.

Hey Nashy08, Welcome. You found the right place for questions and answers. WomenOfHeart is right about Green Smoke. Try to cancel and go for an eGo, Riva or Tornado.

Thank you both! I'm going to try to cancel my order and get a Tornado instead.

My 1st kit was the Green Smoke Nashy. I really liked it but felt the refill cartomizers were too pricey and didn't seem to refill as well as others I have tried since. I also tried Blu Cigs and was unsatisfied with the lack of Vapor. I got the Tasty Vapor 510 system and really liked it and wished that it had the all in one cartomizer. The carts were easily refilled though. I love their e-juice too. I have finally found the Holy Grail (for me that is...) and it is the e-cigs from Vapor4life. they have the same cartomizers as green smoke with a different batting inside that is much easier to refill. I found out through some research that I could get a connector for my 510 batteries that will adapt to the 910 cartomizers that Vapor4Life uses. Nirvana! Now if I can find a similar connector so I can use my Green Smoke batteries I will be in hog heaven. Anyone know the type of battery Green Smoke uses? I have been tobacco free for 3 months now and I am still in the Honeymoon phase of this new vaping adventure! These forums have been a wealth of information for me and I am so happy to have access to them.

Welcome and glad to see you are on your journey. I cannot offer advice on the green smoke, but after reading many, many hours here, you will find many, many different opinions. It appears that some newbies gave up, or almost gave up, due to chosen models not performing like a analog or like they think they should. Models do matter, as well as batteries, juice, cartomizers, atomizers and on and on. What helped me the most, was watching alot of YouTube videos. You will find almost any model out there, on a video with reviews and by several people.
My only other thoughts to you, is...even if the green smoke is not perfect for you, (not saying it won't be) please don't give up on vaping!. Just read, research and get you another model. The first one, will probably not be your last one.
Good Luck and welcome!

I'm glad, even relieved, that you're getting a Tornado instead! I think you'll be much, much happier for it and your experience will be more satisfying!

Thanks again. I'm glad I found this site! I've been watching all the videos and reading as much as possible, even telling some of my coworkers about some better models! I think I'm going for a 510 next. :)

Sounds like you're already on your way to being a collector! A lot of us are and we love our toys!

Haha, yep! I'm so excited about quitting analogs. Unfortunately, it's all I have to keep me until my tornado arrives which shouldn't be too long. I think I have around 15 bottles of different juices heading my way as well. I can't wait to feel healthier. Thanks for all the help, I'm really going to like it here.
