Props! Better to dive in head first than to dip your toe in the pool like a weenie. It's not hard or complicated to one with patience and the willingness to learn. There's no vaping problem that can't be solved with the resources available.
Agreed! Not to discredit any of the great minds around here.. but this isn't exactly rocket science.. a little very basic electrical theroy maybe. Other than that it's a lot of trial and error and personal preference. I'd definitely consider myself more the hobbiest vaper... I mean I have never even been a smoker. #cloudsbroclouds haha I got into this, as I mentioned above, initially for CBD vaping. However I did use chewing tobacco and I haven't had a pinch since I bought my first mod kit.. probably 3 months, and I haven't even had any urges to go back to chew.
I think I'm more into the tinkering side of this stuff.. coil building, mech mods (don't worry I'm learning and taking things slow and safe), all of these unique different coil types.. this stuff is all very intriguing to me. I'm a tinkerer. If something can be "souped up" I've probably done it. I feel pretty comfortable diving into vaping. If I toast a $80 mod or get a lung full of burnt cotton I'll be alright.. battery safety is definitely something I had to learn a lot about but really it's all pretty simple.
Getting the terminology down is my next goal.. haha I'm pretty fluent in vape but damn there are a lot of terms.. especially with coils. I grasp the different atomizer stuff pretty well. But Twisted, exotic, Alien, Clapton, fused Clapton, clapception.. Juggernaut, Helix... I want to understand what these all are and more directly, why...? Haha from my limited experience I can't see these an Alien coil doing things THAT much differently than the others. But I'm sure I'll learn!
