Just to check if anyone is using aw imr 2200 mah battery for this apv?
Does anyone realize that constant voltage= constant wattage on a certain Ohm atomizer? This is what I'm not understanding about these new "Variable Watt" devices. If you vary the watts, you are varying the voltage so what is different about them with everyone getting on the train?
If you say you have a 2.4 Ohm coil, and you put 4 volts to it you will end up with a certain amount of watts. If you change the "watts", you've only changed the voltage that you are putting to that coil.
So a 2.4 ohm coil at 4 volts is going to produce 6.6 watts at 1.6 amps.
Now if you use the "variable wattage" and select you want 10 watts.. you are now at 4.89 volts and 2.04 amps.
So really this "Variable Wattage" is just another term for "variable volts" if the APV can produce a steady voltage of 4 volts, you will have a steady wattage of 6.6
There is so much variance in 18650 batteries length and width you cannot really fault a manufacturer for not being able to be compatible with all of them.
I guess I don't understand the confusion.
VW is a refinement of the system. Both vary power. VV varies the input (voltage) VW varies the output (watts). Of course increasing input increases output and vice versa. So, while there is no difference in the end, VW does have a slight advantage in that switching resistances results in the same output whereas VV doesn't. It doesn't mean you never have to adjust the power, it just means that you are likely to be closer to the correct power when you switch resistances, without doing calculation and adjustments beforehand.
It is just a nice refinement and it just makes more sense for our purposes to control output power instead of input power, therefore people buying new variable power devices are logically looking at VW devices. It would however be irrational to buy solely on the basis of a VW device over VV device as (in my mind at least) other factors are more important, such as quality, durability, etc.
We are sorry for the problem of spring. we can send you a new free spring. please sumbit a ticket.
Btw, sorry for the delayed reply. I will check the forum more often.![]()
I'll wait until my next order so you don't have to pay for shipping. Thanks for your reply, I had no doubt you would take care of this.
We strongly suggest you not to order from our site for a while, because recently we do have a problem getting orders to reach your customs via ems smoothly.
Hi newsunshine, can aw imr 2000mah batteries fit this apv?

Could you please tell us what are the dimension range of batteries that can be used?Thank you for your asking.
Sorry. we have no idea whether IMR 2000mah batteries fit this apv, because we do not have the batteries at hand. could you tell me its size, so i can answer your question?
I'm using a 2000 mah efest IMR battery in mine right now actually.
Can someone reiterate why we it is not recommended to use protected 18650/18300 batteries in these mods?
