Just got my Noble 1 in today from 310 Vapors. Didn't realize it was going to be so small. I love how light weight it is though. Not liking how small the wick hole is.

Has anyone drilled out the wick hole on their Nobel 1? I'd like to be able to use a Nextel wick with this and I know there is some 1/32" wick for sale. Not sure the measurement of the current wick hole on this thing.

It looks like you have a double strand of the 1/32" wick through the wick hole? I like your design with the hoop as opposed to clipped off at the top of the center post. Is that like a 3/2 coil? what oHm is that?

Yea... It's doubled up 1/32"... I've done a single strand before but it had a tough time keeping up. The double strand, no wicking issues at all.

Haven't tried cramming 1/16 in the there yet so I'm not sure if it'll fit.

The coil... The wire mounts and dismounts on the same side of the wick... So, I just call it a three wrap. If I recall correctly, it was in the 0.8 to 0.9 range.

Do you remember the wire gauge you used?

I have some xc-116 pieces that are 2" long. Visually they don't look like they would go in the wick hole but I'm going to try today to see "if" it would work.

I've got some 116/132 coming in though.

30 awg Kanthal A-1 wire. 2" of single strand will touch bottom no problem. If you can get the 116 through the wick hole, post up a pic. I have some but I haven't tried it.

Soak the tank section in warm soapy water for a bit. Then attach it back to the tube section so that you have something to hold on to...

Pull the tank off with a slight twisting motion to break the seal between the glass and the o-rings. Keep the tank as straight as possible when pulling it off to keep it from binding.

Day 2 this thing leaks like a russian sub. Anybody have a solution to stop it from leaking so bad. Mine leaks from the top and when i pick it up juice is comming out the air hole and even the sides
Hope u don't mind me asking...but your are keeping the thing standing up right?

I've also tightened the brass nuts on the center post so that the little orings on the top and bottom are snug and fitting properly under the nuts.

Also make sure the top of you wick is not hitting the top cap of the mod on the inside.

You have a picture or video of what's happening?

Hope this video helps...
