Today I received an iTaste SVD ... I can't get it to vape ... what am I doing wrong?

When I try to vape the button is red and on the display it is reading 0.0A and no vape.
My other info is reading as follows :
My battery is saying 4.2 ...
3.0 v3.0 PI have the v and p set low to start with. I am using a Smok Trophy V2 tank ...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

It's not making a connection with the coil - or the coil is totally dead.

If the tank works on another battery, then look at the connection - you can use a toothpick or similar to "wiggle" the little connector pin in the SVD "up" just a bit. It's spring loaded and that will be OK.

Some tops will push it back down too far to connect with other tops - so every once in a while you have to do this wiggle...

Sounds like it's not making a connection with the coil. Have you tried using a different tank? If you just received it, i doubt the center pin has been pushed in, but it's possible. Maybe you screwed the tank on too tight? Before messing with it too much, I would just return it for a new one.. should be covered under warranty depending on where you bought it from.

Someone sent me this video a while back when I was having the same trouble with my itaste vv. Take a look.

the tank works with a regular ego c battery ... tried wiggling the piece up didn't help ... tried a V2 tank and nothing

It's normally okay to give out vendor names, people do when making recommendations all the time...myself included.

Why wouldn't you want another one? Innokin products are usually pretty bullet proof (although not always).

I got it from VenerableVaping.com. I know Innokin is a good product ... just a bad first impression today ...:(

Mine does that with attys below 1.9 ohms. Find a higher ohm one and try it out. When I put my attys on a tester they would say 1.7-1.8 and work on a regular ego battery but not on my SVD. That attys ohms are to low. Thats the problem.

Sent from somebodys phone I found using Tapatalk.

I will try changing them out and see what happens ... that will have to wait till tomorrow because I will have to go to the e cig store.

Check the battery- the instructions on mine said to insert the battery backwards which does not work.

I have the production model ... it has the black button not the white one. the instructions say to - end battery in first and the + end out towards the battery cap.

It is like I don't have something programmed right ... I am totally confused ... I watched a video and everything is right
