New iTaste SVD can't vape

I think the battery was in backwards and the tank was the problem. Always have several tanks to use -this is where backups can be really important when you need to troubleshoot problems. Have at least 2 of everything including chargers.

I have a V2 tank ... and it did the same thing as they Smok one ...

the V2 tank just went on my ego c battery

I have 3 tanks coming in the mail ... they are just not here yet ... I just got the iTaste SVD today

WT when I push both + and - I get 1.9A shows on the display ... battery is 4.2, 3.0 v, 3.0 p

but still can't vape

That sounds wrong. Voltage range on the SVD is 3.3v - 6.0v. I don't believe it can be set at 3.0v.

Hold the "-" button and the power button for 3 seconds until you see "U0" on the screen. Then hit the plus to move the voltage up until like 3.4v.

Wait for the screen to go blank. Try to vape. Let me know what it shows on your screen.

If it was a short, it should show "ERR" on the screen according to the manual.

I hope it is because right now my head is hurting ... lol ... when I hold the + and - I get 1.9v but when I go to vape I get a red flashing button and a 0.0v

I rebuild my own evod attys. When I have a short (a wire not clipped close enough, or touching the inside) it'll read 0.0. It has also happened a couple of times when an atty is under 1.9. I always hold my breath when I see 1.9 on the screen with a new atty cause I don't know if its gonna fire or not.

Sent from somebodys phone I found using Tapatalk.

on the screen I get 0.0A ... and no vape

if I hold the + and - now I get 0.0A before I was getting 1.9A

Okay, it definitely sounds like there is something really wrong here ... It might be the coil, it might be the device. When you go to the store with it, hopefully they will be able to figure out what the problem is. Have you heard back from the vendor yet? Will they exchange or replace it?

Perhaps this is the same issue:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../409387-innokin-svd-problems.html#post9354415

"I have encountered a problem though. The SVD stopped detecting the tanks! It would read 0.0A (which refers to the resistance, I guess A is the closest character on the display to the OHM/Omega sign). I was really worried until I attached my favorite tanks a bit looser. It turns out that the o-ring under the connection in the 510 threaded seat on top of the device was squashed. I was pushing the connection post down as I screwed my tanks on. The same issue is common in the VAMO. I will post a link:
Low ohm problem with the Vamo - Electronic Cigarette Forums - Ecig Advanced"

The link didn't like to copy over. But it's basically the Vamo o-ring fix.

The vendor told me to pull the pin in the tank ... I tried that as well

If they want to earn your business, then they will try and help you. If they do help, then I would consider trying to buy from them every now and them in a show of support for their help. They know that if they help you, you will be more likely to recommend more people come to them. That is just good business.

Thanks I need a little laugh here ...

I will let you guys know what I find out tomorrow ... if they will help me ...

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your time and help ...

I have an SVD that does the same thing with ego tanks. 510 tanks it works fine. I only use it as a back up. I use my Vamo V2 and a gripper as my everyday carries. Good luck. Hope it works out for you.

On a side note - I was in your area Thanksgiving time. Went to visit my wife's Aunt that lives in Elkhart...lol
