My guess is that it's the thing I linked a few posts back - and that most of you didn't read it because since the discussion took place in the middle of a thread about EMDCC's, when I linked it, it put the title of the thread in and you guys are thinking "No, it's not EMDCC's, joyetech doesn't even make those". Check the links, I think you'll find your answer.

I went back and checked those links, thanks. I'm really tempted to get one of those things. It looks half the size of my e-power 18650 which I don't even consider portable :D

No, I saw it. I don't think that's it. I have a decent idea where Healthcabin sourced that from and it wasn't Joye. Of course, I don't know anything for sure.

I just bought myself a new eGo-T 1000mah ... HUGELY EXCITED! I'm leaving behind a Halo G6 which I started with only 3 weeks ago. I left analogue smokes behind when I took receipt of my Halo G6 and have not looked back. Jeff from Wordup Ecig called me, yes, he actually called me about an order I had placed (I'm in Australia) and we had a discussion about vaping, what I am using and how I am finding it, given I'm a vaping newbie. He said it was a new product, just released, wondering whether perhaps that is the product to which you refer above. Can't wait to try it and I like the idea of a tank system where there is nothing interfering with the taste of the E-juice.... from those with experience with tank vaping ... any comments or tips?? Thanks Muchly in advance =)

What i see in that video but still wondering.

It starts out there unscrewing the atomizer off the battery.
They appear to show the part where the atomizer spike assembly would be fitted into as being hollow without any spike assembly inside at that point around the 10 sec mark.
Then they keep bouncing around a bunch of these spike assembly's then in the video by themselves like its a simple replacement part.

Perhaps and just a thought maybe they might have changed the whole atomizer assembly and have a replaceable spike assembly that somehow gets inserted into the casing part when the coil fry's out . As a note my eyes cannot see a wick in that spike.
If that is indeed the case perhaps the cost of 1 would be cheaper all around to produce and sell and it would just pop into the hollow looking atomizer cover show being unscrewed from the battery in first part of video.
Still scratching my head .

I went to my local vendor, and he showed me something new last week. It was something like a "Mega". He says it doesn't leak and is a hybrid between a carto and a tank. I swear it was the eGo brand, but I might be wrong. It looked pretty cool, but I wasn't willing to spend $80 on it just yet.

Didn't realize Daytona had a vendor. I wonder what types of PVs they carry.

Really; I'm more into the science and know little of the models avialable, only ever had a 901 and now an 808. However, in the past I did quite a bit of exploring the technology from a modding-type perspective.

So if there's such a thing, what is it?

Kina, your threads with Nick O'Teen and others way back when were like chemistry classes for many of us - thanks!

On tanks, just in case if you haven't seen this regarding the eGo-t tank system:

Hi, in regards to KentC video link above.
Living here in Illinois south of the city i had the pleasure of going to Cignot's shop . I purchased some low res atomizers and we had a nice chat although it was not Vicky but another employee.
He personally demonstrated to me the complete cleaning of atomizer, pulling of the wick, and dry burn for the coil.
He did the whole ten yards showing me this and putting it all back together.
I now do this also at home it can be tedious but for me it works well.

I also started making my own wicks. Its not easy for me but there as good as new if not better when finished and adjusted in the spike.
When i put in the homemade wick i place it in the spike pre juiced and a little high up into it.
I do some test vaping then and if i start to get a brunt type taste i carefully push the wick downwards and test vape some more until that taste is gone , for me yes its tedious my eyes are not what they used to be but it does work very well for me personally.

Now if they do come up with a replaceable coil/wick assembly for my ego - mega tank that i can just pop in for a reasonable price that would be very nice i feel.

well... it looks like the ego-c ovale/joye should be the new product manufactured by joyetech and released in november.

joyetech

I don't understand putting together a video to advertise your product that leaves anyone who watches is with absolutely no idea what it is you are selling. Beyond "It's an e-cigarette related product", the video gives no useful information.

Basically everything i've seen about the ego-t is people complaining about the wick or wicking system which in my experience causes all the issues in a t system. Now if we're logical about this the ego-c would be an upgrade on this infamous problem. People love the ego period and if Joyetech wants to keep a loyal following they are deff monitoring forums and youtube to see how their products review and the performance people are experiencing, then improving. In a young industry as pv's are if they don't adjust and fix their issues someone else will and that is a fact. As for what the ego-c is who know but I'd like to believe it's an improvment over the T systems wick and wick problems. like dieseler I've had to make my own wicks and it would be nice to get a new product from the manufacturer that you didn't have to mod as soon as you get it to make it work properly.

Im drawing my own conclusion from the video... and it seems like the atomizer and the wick are gona be sold as seperate components? If the price of tossing out a 2 week old wick is not prohibitive, I'll welcome the change..

The best competitor would be a continuously variable battery with enough capacity to maintain voltage at high levels for enough time to be effective. The trouble with small eGo batteries is that the 4.2v max deteriorates quickly to 3.7v and down. A 2000mah batt with a recessed thumb wheel adjustment for the regulator would be cost effective and easy to operate.

I find the jump from 3.4v to 3.7v (eGo to Riva) too much at times. A juice that is a little weak at 3.4v may have an underlying burnt taste at 3.7v. Continuously variable voltage would be nice.
