I like the idea of a VV ego battery and I agree the 3 mode Ego batts are close to useless when you are used to the real thing. However, being an avid Ego-T user right now, I'm actually more interested in the Ego-T improvement.

I've never used the highest setting actually- sort of afraid I'll kill a carto (will I?)
SF, I wouldn't think so, in that I'm using some of my ol' eGo 1.5Ω cartos at ~4.7 VDC on my Buzz Pro with no losses thus far. Though, ya may not get the batt charge life as on lower voltages.
Actually for me, 4.5 VDC is about my upper tolerance level with said cartos.
another video with some more details of it
Thanks for the info, Kent. I'd been interested in this...it'd be a done deal for me if it was VV...but I do kinda' like what I see so far.
You should not worry. One of my mods is not regulated and uses 2 18650, so around 7.4-8V with full batteries. I'm using DC 1.5ohm cartos on it without issues. As long as they stay wet, it's ok. So with 4.2V on your vv ego, no problem!I don't have anything to compare it to, but I like mine. I've never used the highest setting actually- sort of afraid I'll kill a carto (will I?) but I use the low setting for my fruit juices and the middle for my other juices. I like that you can see how much charge you have on the battery. I got it here from a co-op at a great price and I'm pretty happy with it.
Dang, 8volts, don't touch a ground wire when your using that. LOLYou should not worry. One of my mods is not regulated and uses 2 18650, so around 7.4-8V with full batteries. I'm using DC 1.5ohm cartos on it without issues. As long as they stay wet, it's ok. So with 4.2V on your vv ego, no problem!

I'm vaping one of these - ego-c - now - I got a 'beta' - can't say where.... mine has 'joyetech' on the black body as well as on the metal band. The band is where it unscrews - one places the atty module in a hole there - the silicone disc in the module makes for a tight fit. The spike on the module looks a bit stubbier - without measuring - a bit shorter and fatter - this may be good for less surface hitting the ejuice - less burning? and a tighter fit on the cap. I don't have any soft A caps - it's an A style and looks nice - less volume than I'm used to but still vaping strong.
The atty is measuring a solid 2.4Ω on the multimeter. Most of my B attys are running from 2.1-2.3Ω, so this is a tad cooler but not that noticeable. Good vapor, good flavor, no leaks but I've only been at it for about 1/2 hour now. I'm vaping my no. 1 ejuice DV's Habana Reserve and I know it so well now - I can tell the difference in flavor on the new varivolt eGo batt (not part of this beta kit - I just have two atty modules and two clear A tanks.) Anyway the ejuice is tasting better than what I get on the smoktech ego sized DCC's - although they vape better than most other cartos I've had - CE2's are good as well.
The draw on the eGo-c is good - not tight but not all airy either. So far I'm liking it. I'll probably wait for the B type size to arrive and hopefully there will be a variety of ohms to choose from. I haven't checked the other module yet - it may be differentbut there's no outside indication of ohms.
I hope it's not another huge screwdriver again with very little room for the juice. Everyone seems to focus on voltages, resistances, shininess, etc. But not a lot focus on efficient juice feeding system that could last you at least a day or two without refilling.
;-)
Yup, I've heard good things about it. Thank you very much. But I'm shying away from long, tubular types. I've got lots of them. I want something that fits on the palm of my hand. I'm waiting for the next edition of Vapage V-mod or something similar. Lightweight, highly portable, batteries removable, efficient juice feeding system and enough room for the juice to last me a day or two without refilling. Pardon me for being repetitive. That would be the Go-Go![]()
