I'm pretty amazed at what a difference there is between the older horizontal coils and the new vertical coils. The verticals are waaaay better by a long shot.

Yeah the difference is incredible. Whenever I use one of my tanks with the old coils in it I am disappointed. The difference in flavor is massive, it tastes like two different juices when I compare.

When I tried and reviewed the Favotank I think that is what impressed me the most. Their coils were top notch. Can't wait to try the Kanger VOCC

Has anyone had any quality issues with the 0.5 ohm coils? It's been a mixed bag for me. I've had some that don't produce a decent vape until 20W+ then start to burn, others are OK at any wattage and are perfect. Also spitting seems to happen randomly. This is all regardless of juice type, VG ratio or wattage. As for the 1.5 ohm coils, they've been very consistent. No spitting, good vapor regardless of any variables.

After watching PBusardo's videos on his trip to some Chinese factories, and seeing coils being assembled, I can easily believe that different coils could act differently, even from the same package. They had a large number of people assembling these things and some people are probably a lot less consistent than others. Or who are even lousy at it. And each person cranks out a large number of coils each day.

I am using the rba built to .5ohm, spaced coil @ 30-35 watts

they all seem to be a little off here and there, .4-.5 ohms most of the time, but its not too bad
