New Kanger Box Mod- The Subox

Sooooo, y'all could save me a lot of time reading.....

I been wrapping on a 2.4mm rod under tension (thanks Cigatron and Mac) using 28ga A-1 Kanthral and would like to keep this set-up for the subbox

How are you wrapping ? size/ga

I do like the look of that twisted 26ga above blivey

My "tool" for coil building....

Good looking coil jig! You can still do the 28g 2.4mm id for the Subtank. I would use a 5/6 wrap, spaced horizontal coil. It will hit right around 1 ohm. If you want around .5 ohm just do 2 strands of 28g twisted. You want your coil to be at least as wide as your air hole, so space accordingly. You can also use a machine screw to wrap the coil if you are OCD about your spaces being even.

Alright guys, I have been playing around with the RBA and came up with a REALLY good vertical coil build. I took pictures of all of the important steps. It is a 26g twisted vertical coil. Reads out @ .7ohms and no dry hits at 50w. Let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything I could have added to make it easier to follow. I may be making more tut albums.

I've built a few for my Kayfun back when I still used it - although not with twisted. A twisted build is a hot vape I'm sure, but I expect it offers tons of flavor.

most people just stick with the standard with RBA, so probably why you didn't find much.... i've seen some twisted builds... but not vertical

Craziest thing is that even though this isn't a standard build, I had a guy over at Reddit implying that it was only getting attention for it because I am a girl.
