Yessir, you haven't ever used a 510 atomizer or cartomizer? Other than the airflow issue they do give off very good flavor. Especially a bridgeless atomizer.
Nope, started on Blu then strait to a mech with a Subtank and no clue thanks to the local BM. ( all I asked for was sturdy and refillable) LUCKILY still alive.

I had a couple apprentices who vaped and got interested back around 2011. I probably read that thread as it was current back then and was so lost that I stayed with my then current habit.

I've read a good chunk of this thread.

I remember back in the day... | Page 2 | E-Cigarette Forum

The iPV D2 has a spring loaded 510 and is 4mm shorter than the KBOX Mini...

iPV D2 75W Temperature Control Mod by Pioneer4you

I waited, and waited for the springy 510, as well as some of the signal fixes PBusardo mentioned in his review, then the IPV D2 came out ($45.00), and spent my money on my first TC mod, also does 75 watts. It does not do buck voltage, but after looking at the ohms I vape, thus wattages, not a factor for me at all, and in TC mode a non issue at .15 ohm Kanger TC coils. My D2 is sporting a Kanger Subtank though, total black out with the black o-rings. Kanger lost me this time around at least for the bottom, topper is good, like it better then my previous Nano. Tight AFC, NO leaks!

I miss my cartos and cigalikes.

But NOT having to carry FIVE or SIX of them all the time.:D

If only the technology could get to the point of giving the performance and battery life of current digital mods with the size and form factor of cigalikes.

I made about 12oz total of about 15 flavors at 70VG for my Velocity RDA.
I made so much thinking that I could also use them in my Subtanks (OCC) and Arctic tanks.
Apparently 70VG is too thick to chain vape big hits on these @ 75°F. ouch.

I'll mix about 4oz at 60VG since the season's getting cooler and see how that goes.

You know those Vuse have amazing battery life, if they had a standard 510 I would use the one I got for free. I wouldn't however buy one since it's a BT product.

2-3 drops of water per tank, it'll run. I don't know about the temp, is that ambient air temp you're talking about?

75F in Taxachusetts today - My Subtanks barely wicked 50/50 last Winter.

I had to keep the tank in my hand as much as possible when I hiked.

Enter temp control mods with nickel, stainless, nifetherm or ti builds.:D Not trolling here or anything, the subox is a nice compact setup with many good attributes, it just can't self regulate power levels according to juice thickness.

With a temp control mod set to a warm, not hot vape, (around 435 °f) my STminis hover right at 30w with 75vg at room temp (74°f). Plenty of dense juicy tasty vapor for me; and I like a lot of all of those. Nice thing about temp control is that I never have to worry about dry or burnt hits; the mod just adjusts the power accordingly. If the wick runs a little dry or my draw effort is a little weak the mod turns down power. If the wick gets wetter or my draw effort increases the mod cranks up the power....sweeeeeeet! So this winter when things cool down and my juice thickens up I won't expect to get as much vapor but then I won't have to worry about burny hits either.

I'm hoping Kanger's next big contribution to the world of vaping will be a TC mod......Cig the prophet? Lol

I would so buy a Subox with TC. Even if it still had that fixed pin that works with so few drippers :(. But I found my compatible dripper, a Royal Hunter.

Not trying to derail the thread here but if Kanger does offer a TC mod it would have to have a spring loaded 510 connection. Temp Control needs rock solid connections down to .01 ohms accuracy to work correctly......now, back to our regular scheduled program......sniper kitties and such.:)

Silicone sleeve showed up, fits very well, battery access is going to suck, sleeve is toight. I guess they think I'll use the charging port?

Splash the sleeve's interior with baby powder.
I just did that with my D2's sleeve and no more fight.
