a fairly new one to keep an eye on is vape Crawler - that's a search engine. Very handy.

Hey aik...nice TIP!!!

I've been "keeping an eye on" the Heatvape Defender.

I searched it on VapeCrawler and it (quickly) came up with ALL the sites I have run across selling it (with the correct current prices) that are in my bookmarks folder.

Thanx!!!

510 connection confirmed.
...

I just Can't Believe that Kanger would do a Final Release of this mod with a Fixed Pin.

Kinda the Zola Budd of e-Cigarette mod design.

If it is meant to go with their subtank, which it is, then yes they can think it is fine doing a fixed pin.

Just Seems like Kanger is Shooting themselves in the Foot if they release a Mod that Doesn't work with All the Atomizers out there.

I mean, a Spring Pin Isn't Exactly Rocket Science. Or New and or Uncharted Territory.

I agree they should've least done a adjustable pin, but maybe in their eyes, the mod should be used with the subtank, and from what I am seeing, it won't hurt their sales that much, people are fighting to get these things.

I wonder what will happen If people start Reporting that their favorite RDA's or Other Tanks like the Lemo don't work on Kanger's Mod?

Then they will do a V2 and people will need to buy again, but like they did with the original subtank, we are the beta testers for these companies.

Also look at the new RBA, people complained the RBA base didn't wick thick VG juices, so some people started drilling holes in the side of it, now the new RBA has that same concept.

This isn't a big deal for me. My primary tanks are Subtanks, which should fit OK. If my other tanks don't fit, I'll use a different mod. And you're right, it's not rocket science. However, I have a lot of respect for Kanger's design and engineering, and I have to believe this was a conscious decision and not something they "just missed". The same goes with the decision to use an external battery. In the end, I don't really care, as long as it doesn't catch on fire.

I just hope that Kanger's decision to release a Mod with a Fixed Pin had nothing to do with Unit Price. And that the Bean Counters didn't Overrule the Product testers in this.

Because Kanger didn't need to Shave a Few Bucks off the Line Item Price of either the Box Set or the Mod itself.

People were going to go Ga Ga over this at the Current Price. Or if the Price hand been 3 Dollars more.

    I fought/fiddled with fixed 510 Pins in my VV V3's, MVP2's and 20W-iSticks...when I didn't "know any better".

After I got my (first) 30W-iStick with it's spring-loaded 510 Pin...I never looked back!!!

Yeah... A Spring Loaded Pin is kinda like a Garage Door Opener.

Once you have had one, it is Very Hard to go Back to Not having one.

This is unexpected. I just received my new (3rd) subtank mini today. It has the airflow holes on both sides! I was all confused at first, I looked it up to make sure it was authentic lol. I do have the original occs though, I'll have to look at the rebuildable and see if it's different. I don't use those yet though.

Did you check the HD slideshow I reposted not-too-far back? It's not too lengthy, and the photos are of excellent detail. No talking, just text.
