Yup. It would still be nice to have a native English speaker to talk to when I have problems with my device, rather than searching this forum for info.
Right? These companies are making MILLIONS off of America, or English speaking countries at the least, you'd think they could hire a person for 30 grand a year (probably alot less),or just teach someone there to actually learn and communicate in PROPER english. I know it's not a huge deal, and actually great for a good laugh, but c'mon, China!

Go through kanger's Facebook page and read the comments, especially the ones kanger writes. Sometimes there are some pretty bad misunderstandings. It makes me laugh, but I'd be upset if it were me needing help.

I have NEVER dripped. But I am running the 0.5 OCC with a 8mg 50-50 vg pg at 25 watts. NO dry hits, fairly cool vapor and consistently great flavor. If I leave the airflow at the middle one, I do mouth to lug hits. If I leave the full airflow on, then direct lung hits.

I am not a big fan of lung hits but at lower mgs, the longer throat hit while doing a lung draw is awesome! I will drop my next nic level to probably 3 :D In another 6 months, I will drop it to nothing!!!!!!!!!!

i like to mouth to lung too . And btw this phrase " tottle puffer" or however its written is lamer than any other phrase in vaping , idk who was stupid enough to come up with it but whatever .
The only way I do mouth to lung is with 80% PG at least 12mg nicotine and I have to vape that one for 3 , 4 minutes non stop to feel completely satisfied

can they even do that? cigg ads were kind of banned last i remember on TV, so wouldn't this kind of fall under that too?
they would have to stick to magazines which is kind of a dying thing really

Cigalikes and vape shops have tons of ads on tv here in AR. I think they're allowed to say anything they want about ecigs except to claim them as a smoking cessation device. That's a claim the FDA holds in reserve, along with the heavy taxes they'll impose upon us once they approve and regulate it as such. Welcome to big business politics huh?

Go read the first page of the tootle puffer thread. I find it pretty funny, but it was a name as a joke at first.

Thats a good deal for $30 bucks. But how long does it usually take to get stuff from Gearbest? Is it speedy for China or am I looking at a month or something here?

More than a month, it's a pre-order that doesn't even end till June 30th, so probably be near the end of July before you see it from them.

No one thinks twice at calling themselves a cloud chaser or a flavor chaser, it should be no different for a tootle puffer. I think we all need to have respect for what kind of vaper a person identifies as. I like lung hit for the most part but love the tootle puffers thread. The sense of community there is staggering. P.s. most vapers started as tootle puffers.

Yeah, for sure, dripping atties had just taken off when I starting vaping. Back then V2 cigs had only been selling vaping gear for about 6 months. It was arguably the best cigalike tootle puff device on the market back then and I was all over those....tootle puffed myself off of stinkies with V2 gear. I'm a lung hitter now but will never forget my roots in vaping.
    Go tootle puffers!!!!

I don't believe they need any sort of marketing campaign, a simple release video and the vaping community takes over from there as free advertising. As a company I don't think they could ask for more. They give us pictures and specs, we take off like a pack of rabid dogs awaiting release date.

Device comes out and we hype then even more, all the while giving them feed back on what we see as problems or areas to be improved on. Win win for them and minimal cost.

No amount of marketing can make up for a crappy product. That's why Vuse and Blu need to advertise and Kanger doesn't. Most adults are very skilled at editing out advertising anymore. I make it as tough as possible for products I don't have an immediate interest in.

TV is really on the short list since so many have figured out how to edit commercials from shows and I'm sure we've all heard about print media's woes. There's a number of reasons why being aligned with a big box like Walmart may do more harm than good too (related to production and demand).

I still think dropping the Kbox down to a loss leader price was one of the smartest marketing tools I've seen for a long time - knowing they had a good product. So many times I see advertising used as a way of compensating for average, mediocre, and outright bad products that no one should have an interest in buying. Or the entire field is glutted with products that have faults = no other choice but to pick one. Ugh.

Drug companies spend more on marketing than they do on research and development. I see huge billboards from my cable company - advertising speed or value? Nope. Trying to convince me they have "customer service" as if I had a choice of ISP's.

Even finding a mini box mod that would work with my vaping style and the current atty's available was leaving me frustrated. Enter the Subox, one of the few able to handle tootie puffers AND high wattage power vapers AND under $100? (including a great atty too!). Kanger doesn't have competition.

A lot of the recent box mods don't have step down, at least the cheaper ones. I was a little surprised the kbox did.
