As long as the 18650 flashlights are being made, I will always be able to have a Mech ;)
Nitecore makes some great mods, errr I mean flashlights
What kind of Hit could I get off a 800 Lumens flashlight :?:
Most of the 18650 flashlights cost more than a mod  I wonder if they make clone Flashlights

We need to hype this mod a bit more, the evic thread is catching up.

So, moving forward, actual owners of the Subox kit, what would you change?

I'd personally like to see the price closer to preorder prices. Or include a safe battery at the new price point. This would only help Kangers in the long run by gaining more entry level customers who may stay brand loyal. ( it could also hurt them and retailers as fast as this market moves, make as much as possible as fast as possible before the next craze sets in).

I'd love to see the mod in stainless to match my older tanks and new generation stainless tanks. I'm not OCD by any means, but my old tanks look odd on the black Subox mini.

Other than that, I'm a satisfied man.
I would like to see a stainless one too.
The kit is nice and including a battery would be nice but I was thinking that could be a challenge to figure out what battery or what color of battery to put in the kit.
Maybe they just could add some 18650 battery shrink wraps/sleeves to the Kit

They used to be popular here for a while...

I'm holding out waiting for the hoopla to die down.
Kanger says they will be selling just the Kbox Mini and the colored Subtank Mini's separately without the Kit. And if you can get the whole Kit for under $60 I wonder what just the Kbox would sell for?

What was the preorder price? Just found this kit for $57 shipped. Sucks though because I'd need to get a couple batteries also.

Fully adjustable air flow settings instead of the 3 presets!

The only issue is that there are shipping restrictions on anything with a lipo or lion battery.

I used aluminum aircraft tape on the Aspire Atlantis V2 to cover one of the oval AFC slots, looked almost unoticeable. I used my fingernail to form it into the valleys and ridges for a sleek look. Maybe a small strip of black (electrical) tape over one port would help you out?

Is the Subox designed for a flattop battery or can a button top such as an AW be used?
Also, now don't laugh me outta here, but has anyone tried a carto/tank on these? Just wondering if w/o a floating, or spring loaded 510, if different options of toppers will work.
