I assume it's like the new atlantis coils, they can just handle a bit more due to the spacing of the coils and the thickness of the wire. They will likely be a new model of coils but will fit all subtanks (I hope). If not than Kangertech is definitely rendering my stuff obsolete quicker than I can buy it.Am I the only one that notices something odd....
The current Kanger 0.5ohm OCC coils are rated 15w-30w
The ones on this starter tank are listed as at 15w-60w
(it's not a typo on a site, it's the same on all and kangers)
I hope they aren't using a special coil for these "new" tanks
No, they've done at least two (that I know of), the EMOW 1600mAh and K-Simar 3200mAh mods. IMHO, since their real strength is mechanical engineering, they could have vendored this out. Regardless of who actually manufactured it, I'm sure it had to pass Kanger's QA, which I think is one of the best in the industry.
Mmm since it has 1.5 ohm coils that are clearly labeled mouth to lung, does that mean that they redesigned the afc (again) to accommodate mtl users?
Ahh yes i over looked them gems so they do have some practice at it. Im just so disturbed at there redesign a product monthly routine im assuming this gonna be one of them deals . Only time will tell i guess i hope they got it right from the get go as i want one bad.

I'm not a woman, but don't you think the whole "women want pink" thing is kind of dated? Beyond that, what if I wanted the nano tank/smaller mod in black or white? by doing it one way or the other seems a little odd, and potentially ostracizes or leaves out a particular demographic. Just sayin'.

The small hole pretty tight on the mini now couldnt imagine anyone needs a smaller draw but we all have our preference. Im a wide open lunger so i cant really sympathize on the mouth draw just leave me the cyclops hole and im happy do what you need on the rest of the holes.
What really interests me about this is that I can finally get a mod that matches my gun. Who are they marketing these too? The 90's?
if this isn't a 3rd revision of the current AFC i can tell you that the version 2 can be set pretty tight and it pretty much has to be MTL to work. i do like the version 2 AFC a little better than the original one
They better or I'm going to be ....... I have a subtank, a subtank mini and a subtank plus. If I have to buy a new subtank every other month just to keep up with Kanger's "innovations" I will start buying only atlantis tanks. The Atlantis 2 is already getting more time in the rotation than the subtanks from me.

Yeah I agree, I have a subtank nano and a mini. I can't see them pulling something like that.
58 shipped is a pretty good deal. I am struggling to not order one myself, if I could easily decide between the white and black I probably would have already impulse ordered.
yeah if it wasn't for someone posting that coupon code to get it at that price, i probably would of just waited for the black tank to come out by itself. but for that price for a 50w mini mod my impulse shinyitus took over LOL, if it was only 30w i would of passed. but this will be a great backup for my IPV mini, and another small mid power mod to carry around when i just don't feel like having the dual battery boxes

For anyone that just can't wait, I got an email from Kanger sales in China. Pre-orders made today will ship on June 1 (for black) and June 6 (for white). The price is $83 for the kit, plus $24 for 2 day DHL shipping. That's double the price of waiting, so it's not for me. But there may be others...
The pictures are white. The mod comes in silver for all variations, eventually.
They have an estimated arrival date of June 10th.
