I almost got an ipv 4 yesterday but the site I went to was sold out. I'm on the fence about TC but when the deal is right I'm sure I'll end up with one. My ability to avoid new tech can only hold out so long.

i'd probably have an IPV4 on order already (since the black one is now available) if it wasn't for this subbox kit LOL
i got to kind test one out with a Subtank Mini with a nickel coil and it was an interesting thing. but i didn't get to play around with it for long so i didn't really see how the different power levels affected things

ill just keep an eye out for some sales in the coming months and go from there

but i am still thinking about an all black IPV4 as a possibility
Ultimately, I would like to see them make an Ipv5. A smaller two 18650 high watt, TC mod with form factor. I just can't get into the whole "project box" looking mod thing.

Of course in all black. Lol

thats another thing, they will probably have the IPV5 or IPV Mini 3 out in a few months at the rate they go.... and those will probably have a better TC or updated TC system.

and i have enough mods now that im not really looking for another. but TC still interest me enough to look at all the new stuff coming out and think about getting it for possible advantages

From what I can gather, higher wattages in TC mode mainly affect ramp up time. Seems to make sense.
Ramp up time at 40 watts is almost instant on a normal build, as far as i can tell. Based on my (uneducated and inexperienced) understanding of tc, a properly built and wicked coil won't hit temperature control right away though, it'll just stay at a good vaporizing temp.

I'm excited about titatium. I'm not even sure why - cleaner, safer. But that's sketchy. This shift in the 'future of vaping' isn't about providing vapers with a better vape, but providing the industry with a better platform to conduct testing so that we can keep having products to vape - so we all hope. They can satisfy me with 10w. I think most vapers can quit smoking with what's already on the market.

Is it YIHI the one with 'Nickle Purity''? That's the one with the most promise IMO of temp control for a variety of wires. But I didn't read about how Innokin or Joyetech's's system works. The other company's system made my head hurt. They asked users to set temp control after they vaped according to "best taste". I wasn't ready for that one. I suspect we'll have a few more novel approaches appear.

I see devices getting much more efficient in the next few generations. Temp control also does that. Quitting smoking stopped being my goal quite a while ago (evods did that for me), but I do realize the importance of having different gear for different wants. I got my mom an istick 30 and a nautilus mini for mothers day (despite her reluctance on box mods) and she's completely satisfied with it. My buddy at work couldn't quit until he started dripping.

new vertical coils so people can't rewick the occ's as easily. kanger on point. I have to admit I was about done with the subtank lineup due to the RBA SUCKING, but the new system looks legit. I think they may have nailed it here.
Hey now, take it easy on that RBA. It took em a few times, but they got it right eventually.
