The subox mini box mod is 22mm wide. The original Subtank it's 25mm diameter. The Subtank Mini, Lemo and most other tanks are 22mm diameter. So yeah, if you have the original subtank it would stick out 1.5mm.

Great. I just found out that Vaperoyalty changed the ETA for the white set from 06/12 to 06/17.
My black set is ETA 06/15.

I'm a little confused how vertical coils would work better anyway. How in the world is juice really supposed to defy gravity and wick as well at the top of the coil as the bottom?
One question I have though - so obviously, the Sub Box is a device that's safe enough for anybody to use. I think it performs good enough that beyond a little Kanger battery and tank, that it's an automatic next step up. But what newer users would obviously ask - is it OK to plug the USB cord into an Iphone wall adaptor to charge? I don't really see any other way. Kanger should have included a wall charger. Wall chargers for e-cigs are simply too here and there - none of them have the same specifics.

Actually the OG Lemo is 23mm so it would over hang about 1/2 mm on each side which sucks because I kinda like the looks of the white kbox mini. The Lemo 2 is in fact 22mm so it should fit flush without issue. I'm still up in the air about the mod though because the one I was looking at didn't seem well built at all. No where near as well built as my ipv mini's are.

Thanks for the correction kaahn. I have an og lemo and don't notice the 23mm. I guess all my mods are 23mm or wider. Seems like I knew that at one time too but I forget a lot these days. Getting old sucks!
Werd. I tried 50 when first received and was impressed it didn't. (at first) Been trying to find my sweet spot somewhere between 30-40 with .5 occ. Just for kicks, I bumped it up to 50 again last night with 75 VG juice. Got a li'l scorchy on second hit. Immediately bumped it back down. Doin' just fine now.

I've heard rumor that the Kbox mini (of which I believe proper terminology goes for the subox kit mod) will retail for 29.99. If you speak of the IPV Mini V2, which would be apropos feature-wise, it had better for twice the price. My Kbox mini, however, seems solid as a rock. Inside and out.
Perhaps you could cancel it? I ended up doing that yesterday
Can't argue the price point by any means. As far as quality, I can only say by my observation that I was able to surmise after only handling it for a several seconds, left something to be desired. Again, I stress the fact that this was a mod I happened to see at a cig shop. So as far as its authenticity I can not speak to.
And along those lines, there are none for me to compare to at my local B&M's yet. From the sounds of it by some forum posters, maybe the first production run was a bit inconsistent. Perhaps by luck, I got a good-un.
I don't have a subox yet, but do have a IPV mini though, and I can not agree with the build quality on it, battery cap threads are crap and plenty of reports of them failing, and even more reports how bad the finish wears off the IPV mini, I am really gently with my mods, but the black is coming off my mini, only got to look at it and paint falls off it, but can't complain about the chip in it though.

Most important thing for me is flavor too... I love the rba too, it's awesome. Did you have the original rba? Or is this your first subtank and rba set up? I'm a flavor whor^h^h^h^h chaser so I went right to the RBA, then hoping that the new vertical coils would be a step up from the old horizontal ones. It's a little disappointing, but the new RBA makes up for it. I'm hoping that the stock coils will improve over time, at least to the level that I've got a reasonable backup to vape while I'm rebuilding the RBA.
