I never did understand the rba issue. I've been using the rba mini and rba mini plus in both the black Subtank and the original SS Subtank mini on the Kbox mini and have never had a problem. Does anyone remember what the problem was?
Sorry can't answer your question. I will say I just finally started using the original rba and once I realized I was packing too much cotton, and then to push the cotton in from the walls for a little air, it seems to work on par with the occs for me now. I'm going to order the new one anyway for a spare and to compare them.

I thought some were having problems with the newest RBA and connection issues on other (fixed pin) mods. Haven't tried it on my Ego One Mega batt, yet.

I have to admit I'm a little bummed that my Ego One tanks and a favorite RDA don't make contact. Guess those will be better suited on the SX Mini anyhow. But what a price to pay for springs! Lol

I don't know how condoned this is but I took the bottom off my eGo tank, pushed on the top of the pin forcing the pin down with a screw driver, and the eGo tank made contact after that. I pushed down with a fair amount of force and didn't really feel the pin move at all but it worked!

That is an idea. I have noticed that you get a bit more pin protrusion after installing a new coil. Possibly a new coil pin insulator has a bit more stiffness to it?

Welll after a bunch of screwing around with this thing, it seems like running the .5 coil, at around 26 watts, lowest airflow settings, and adding a drop of Koolada per 5 ml has given me the TH I have been looking for. I know I could up the nic level of the juice but am really trying to avoid that.

This is my second setup, having an eGo One before this. It's a bummer my eGo kept leaking between the top of the head and bottom of the chimney. I am thrilled I don't have any leaking issues what-so-ever with the Subox. It kind of makes me feel a little ill seeing how much $ I have dropped in the past 10 days (I heard we're not suppose to talk about those types of things around here tho ;) ) to get started but it will be worth it in the long run. Going on day 2 cigarette free :)

Thanks for everyone's help and advice. Happy vaping!

Ya got me on that one. I just read a post before about someone being able to push the pin down on the mod of the Subox and figure well hell, if that one moves, why can't the one on my ego?!
