Could you just do what I used to do with my old Spinners? Just gently pry the pin up with a needle or mini screwdriver? I don't have one yet, but if the pin is sitting in a rubber/silicone grommet like the Spinners do, then maybe, right? Or can you access the pin from inside to push up?
Wouldn't it be kinda scary though? If it dislodges inside the 510 hole without any kind of insulator, it could be a hard short.

I hope those have a PEEK Insulator.
Welll after a bunch of screwing around with this thing, it seems like running the .5 coil, at around 26 watts, lowest airflow settings, and adding a drop of Koolada per 5 ml has given me the TH I have been looking for. I know I could up the nic level of the juice but am really trying to avoid that.
This is my second setup, having an eGo One before this. It's a bummer my eGo kept leaking between the top of the head and bottom of the chimney. I am thrilled I don't have any leaking issues what-so-ever with the Subox. It kind of makes me feel a little ill seeing how much $ I have dropped in the past 10 days (I heard we're not suppose to talk about those types of things around here tho) to get started but it will be worth it in the long run. Going on day 2 cigarette free
Thanks for everyone's help and advice. Happy vaping!
So far loving my Subox kit! it's ALOT smaller than pics and video make it look! Adjustable airflow is great, battery level is nice to have and so is VW. The RBA is small but easy to build and wick.
Coming from using a mech dripper to this I have no complaints! Now I don't have to drip every 5 mins!!
Using the RBA with the stock coil I'm getting burnt taste after 30 watts no matter how I wick it... Anyone else run into this?
I found a sweet spot around 25 watts and am happy there but was just curious if anyone else can get higher than 30 watts? Or do I have to change the build?
Thanks @blivey for making this thread or I would have probably not seen or heard of this kit for a while.
Glad you were able to find the sweet spot. The initial investments are always tough but once you get what you need the upkeep is way cheaper than smoking. Invest in juice making supplies and next thing you know vaping is practically free. Unless of course you start buying a bunch of stuff you don't need like the rest of us who regularly post in this thread.

Do you think something like this would help?
Aluminum 510 Finned Heat Sink for Atomizers | Unishow Inc.
I don't know how condoned this is but I took the bottom off my eGo tank, pushed on the top of the pin forcing the pin down with a screw driver, and the eGo tank made contact after that. I pushed down with a fair amount of force and didn't really feel the pin move at all but it worked!
Super Magnet Man
something like this may help on an RDA whose 510 pin is too short.

Thanks for the advice, folks! It doesn't go unappreciatedThe best solution--get a few circuit board spacers from Madvapes. Drop one into the 510 well. Problem solved--works like a charm--no pulling, pushing, magnets, extra o-rings. Genius.
