Ive alternated between this and a Kbox for as long as the subox has been out, and it just doesnt perform as well as the Kbox, I dont know why... I build my coils the same way, Ive switched up how I build in the subtank mini everyway I can and it just doesnt hit like the Kbox. It burns when you do long pulls too which you would think would be opposite of the Kbox RBA but I get better wick saturation thru the Kboxes little tiny wells than trough the wide open holed on the Mini's RBA. Its not a bad tank but I'd rather I'd just bought another subtank that was white and black like the subox.

I love my subox... although it seems a tiny but OFF wattage-wise, compared to the evic mini. I think it may be set to be underpowered by .3-.4 watts? When I switch my subox to .3-.4 watts higher than what I have my evic mini set-to, with the SAME tank, (switching between the two devices) the subox mini seems to perform JUST LIKE the evic mini. So, I think it might be underpowered by a couple two-three points? IDK.

Other than this, i've actually been using my subox MORE than my evic mini, simply because i like the look of my blue RDA on the white subox, lol. It's a great vape, guys. I recommend the evic mini a ton on these forums, simply because i love the form, the looks, the performance- but i've been recommending the subox mini more and more for the same reasons. GREAT mod. It's even a fair-bit heavier than the evic mini. the build quality is quite nice indeed.

Am I really STILL the last- person to have posted in the Subox-MINI thread?? whats going- on yawl?? Did the Evic-MINI really take all of the subox's recent custeez? :p Both are fantastic mods & I'll be perfectly honest right here right now- I've used my suboxmini on far more occasion than my EvicMini, yeeeerp. My WHITE subboxmeeenie just scream VAPE MEEE!!! when I look at er'. Can't help it.... Tho I love bofe mods, I really love the look of my white subox mini w/ a SS kayfun on-top :D Hehehehehee. Gorgeous. Currently have an Aqua tank on er' fulled-up wiff some Strawberry Vanilla-Custard e-liquid. Groovy guys, grooovy... can't beat the look of the white on Stainless, yo. IDK why? Just cannot beet it. I need to pop a KF on the EvicMini & see how it looks with a SS tank on-top, too. That'll be cool. No-doubt it'll look bodacious, :). lol

But- I mean- Really now? What the H is going- on in- here?? Where- IS everybody?? Where's my SUBOX-MINI owners AT?? WHERE YOU AT, HOME BOI's? HOME GURL'z? I know the SbMini has-to be more popular than a dead thread.... where r the new owners posting their happy 1st impressions? Where's the long-term owners to post-about what they're using on-top right now? Where IS everybody?

This is a SHAME! SuboxMINI owners need to stand-up and show yourselves! C'mon! We need a healthy community, like any- other mod needs a healthy thread/community. Just because we're all silenty just vaping- on our SuboxMini's with NO problems what-so-ever, doesn't mean we cant check- in with each- other every once in a while, right? Show yourselves, owners! What ya got on that thing today? Is the Subox- Mini your ONLY regulated mod? Do you love it? Like it? Dislike it? HATE it? Tell us! Come- on!!

Don't panic, Plumes! We're here. :) Got both the white and black Subox mini kits and a couple of the SubTank mini's in silver, plus all the colored skins and a slew of o-rings put by. Oh, forgot. Got the extra colored replacement glass as well. At least one of them is in my daily rotation.....once I figure out it's color co-ordination with my apparel. Ha! :)

wow, so you went above and beyond, huh!? hahah. currently just have the 1 white subox mini, although I do have a black/smokey tank-replacement on it's way to my mailbox as we type. + replacement O-rings. I figured, get the white subox, get the black evic-mini. ya always pictured yourself holding the black evic-mini with that beautiful huge/clear screen, and the blue screen will look great on the white subox mini!!! :D glad I made the choices I did... although, idk what it is... maybe I LIKE white mods more than black? I've been using my subox mini a-LOT more than my black evicmini... WHY? I have no clue... It's just so snazzy with Ss tanks. So contoured to my hands/fingers with it's rounded-off edge... Gotta love it. It's even heavier than the Evicmini in-hand, which makes it feel of higher-quality... (tho both are A+ mods) My current rotation includes both my suboxmini w/Aqua (strawberry vanilla custard tank) and a mech-mod with dripper. (currently vaping "TheVapeTree- Banyan Tree" which is a sweeeet chai-tea type vape (in my humble opinion) & it tastes fantastic in my RDAs. I have-to say, bro, TheVapeTree makes some fine e-liquid. The vapor-production from this 60/40-blend (PG/VG) is out of this WORLD for a high PG.... I've got-to be honest, this e-liquid produces a ridiculous amnt of vapor... I almost want to say, that for whatever reason, they got it right, and their 60/40 blend is one of the most vapor-packed 60/40 blends that I've EVER had the pleasure of vaping.

I love my Subox Mini. I used it daily for almost 2 months and recently retired it as a backup. I find myself using my RX200 at home at 60-80w and a Provari tube during the day due to size.

My Subox is rock solid and I'm sure I will pull it out again.

If anyone is looking for mods to stockpile, this would be my suggestion. I have seen the mod only for just over $20.

Last time I checked, Plumes, I wasn't a "bro"; but, hey, "stuff" does happen. Ha! :) The Subox's were won in a local raffle. Exchanged a 150 watt mod for these two because I'm a diehard Tootle Puffer. The stainless SubTanks and extra parts were bought. Right now though, am learning the "programing" on my Radius Christmas gift and trying to mod the Aspire Nautilus casings for an easier done (for me) horizontal coil. We'll see what happens with that. :)

Well Plumes...since you asked...

I'm a MTL Tootle Puffer...with NO interest in TC.

Toppers include the iClear 30S (LOVE top-filling), Hypertank with T3S coils (LOVE the 5ml capacity), GS Tank, Nauty, an Aspire tank that uses BVC's and XL CartoTanks.

When I'm headed out the door...I take two VV V3's with me.

"Ranking" of Mods in my current rotation when I'm at home:

#1 iStick-30W...small, light, GREAT hand feel

#2 iStick-TC40W...got because it was cheaper than the iStick-30W it would replace

#3 eVic VTC Mini...nice screen, very comfortable LARGE fire button

#4 KBOX Mini...GREAT hand feel but SMALL fire button aches my thumb joint after awhile

#5 Defender-50W...nice size/finish but changing the 18650 is a minor PIA

[To be complete...ejuice...Derall...top-notch tasting ejuice at $4.50/30ml  ]

6 PACK SPECIALS - $26

R u kidding me? Is it GOOD? There's no DOUBT I'll be ordering from here.... Wow! 5 bucks for 30ml of juice? i can't get over that pricing! They've also got great prices on the 120ml clearance bottles. I love you! thanks so-much 4 revealing this vendor!!! Love it! The only thing I dont love is the fact that they do-not carry a RY4... How are you an AMERICAN E-Liquid Vendor with NO RY4 e-liquid? Hmmmmm?? Explain THAT one to me.... They neeeeed to get on their game & mix-up some tasty Caramel Vanilla (maybe hazlenut/almond/nuts) juice! You cannot run an e-liquid shop with NO RY4 or 555!! You just CANT!! lol. RY4 & 555 R US Institutions! They are the philly cheesesteak, the Chicago Deepdish, the ConeyIsland Weiner, the NewHaven Steamed Cheeseburger, the Louisianna BBQ Pulled Pork, the TX T-Bone, the Keys Keylime Pie, the Kentucky Fried Chicken, the Southern BBQ Spare Ribs, of the American E-Liquid Industry!! They NEED a RY4 &/or 555!!!

Edit- Ah, they call it "caramel vanilla tobacco" heh heh... please direguard the above 180 word rant. :D

I've owned the cheap plastic bell caps, ok for quick flavor tasting. Then spent a little more for the cheap glass bell caps at SweetVapes, both the top and bottoms pulled off too easy, glass chimney broke off when I tightened down on a Kanger cool, VERY THIN glass, so those are junk. GOOD news is if you spend a few bucks the BEST "Bell Cap" for a Kanger coil is (link below). Thick glass, metal threads on bottom, but you have to own or buy a Subtank base, which is true of all the ones I've had. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Good luck!

I just ordered a crap-ton of Subtank replacement tanks from Fasttech. Both glass and stainless. All clones.

When my shipment arrives in a few years from China, I will let you folks know if they suck or not. For $0.75-1.00 each for glass and a few bucks for steel, I figured I would stock up. If they are garbage it was a fairly inexpensive gamble.

Not bell caps, but nice to have a few extras lying around IME.

reckless, would you mind linking to the Amazon top, please?

plumes, you are a TRIP! You're so much fun to read!!!!

Katdarling, I did manage to crack one of those bell caps with a "tank cracker" type juice when I wasn't paying attention. :( They do make for a pretty setup though. Think Sweet Vapes had them at one time.

well the obvious "other" place to grab one is the site that rhymes with past wreck. initials F&T. Fasttech, people! Fasttech has "bell-caps" for like, - every popular clearotank on the market, haha. If you need a bell-tank for the Kayfun3.1, the kayfun4, the kayfun-lite, FT has em!! If you need a bell-cap for the kanger subtank, subtank nano, subtank mini, subtank-plus, FT has em!! Hell, if you'd like a bell-tank for your nautilus, for your kabuki, for your this & for your that, fasttechs gottem!! sooo, check-out FT! & trust me, with DHL shipping, they get to your door a lot quicker than you may think. they'll be there within 2 weeks of your order, at-least in my personal experience ordering from china. it's not that bad, really...

anyways, i recommend FT for bell tanks. they have a WIDE selection of colors for them, 4ea tank, too. ;)
