Well I've ordered another green 
on Focal this time. Assuming it ships before the FT I will cancel the FT. If they both ship before I get a chance to cancel, I'll sell one on eBay (or use it as a giveaway to try and promote my fledgling YouTube )
I've probably completely screwed this whole thing up. Even though Focal are clearly getting them sooner, with the delay in my placing the order on Focal there's every chance it's too late to be in the first batch. And/or it could be that the colours aren't even ready and will come at the same time to FT as they do to Focal.
Oh well, at least I have two irons in the fire now!

I did get a response, Doris said they are receiving small batches of the Kangxin Minis and are sending them out in the order received. She didn't mention specifically which colors are coming, but if the blacks are shipping the colored ones should be soon enough!

Likewise my green, which looks rather plush I think! I have the istick in blue and still think it's one of my best looking mods. Well, not as fancy as the Flask of course. But the blue really sets it apart. I'm hoping the same will be true of the green Mini.
Ok I digress my VS rDNA40 has a green sharkskin to hide its color well kinda. Also I have a custom mod in the making using a dark blue/purple metallic coat that'll look schmexy as can be.

Eh I know I'll catch flak but yes its being made by someone else, sx350j was $$$ but that's ok I have no intention on attempting a build myself and could see me pissing money away on failing to get one right with no experience whatsoever lol

I've thought about building one, as a fun project, but that would just be for the project aspects and because I couldn't afford a custom made one from a pro. I know for sure it would never turn out as good as a custom made one by someone knowledgeable and experienced, and I'd love to commission one myself some time. Maybe for my next birthday

I seriously talked to David from vaporlips for half a day planning this out. They are new to the business been around for a few months but he also said they like to throw in stuff for free to help get the word out or to keep their customers nice and toasty.You won't catch any flak from me! I mentioned wanting to apply a vinyl sticker I seen on etsy and he immediately emailed me back with "we are getting an engraving machine in soon how about we engrave the image into the device? " and I responded "Ok? How much more is that?" He then said "free of charge" but only if the device makes in time before my powdercoat paint of choice is applied. Not holding my breathe on it but I responded take as much time as you need!!!! So as long as I can get that engraved image plus the custom paint (which they have to order as well) would justify the extra money spent not just going out and buying an Sx Mini M.
Yeah you should do that (the thread.) It all sounds excellent. And I'm sure it will send business their way once it turns out good.
For sure plus it has been the best customer service experience I've had anywhere. But to take this wheel and crank this sucker back on-topic. You guys receiving the black versions should of course post those pics (ah goes w/o saying) and hopefully the physical modifications were actually done as seen on the review thread.
Everyone who has had one ship has ordered from Focal eCig - they appear to be closest to the manufacturer on this mod.

Except the colored versions well maybe with exception to the gold.... Betcha next week for us "different" folks if we are lucky lol.
I decided to follow up on this as well hopefully get an estimated ETA for the colored versions. Doris did tell me from a prior email this week that some would be sent today which of course was correct as validated by those whom bought the black mini's.
