The 1st day it was listed, believe it was within a hour or 2 of it being listed, at that time, black was only the color available, and I like black mods, so jumped on it.

I decided to follow up on this as well hopefully get an estimated ETA for the colored versions. Doris did tell me from a prior email this week that some would be sent today which of course was correct as validated by those whom bought the black mini's.

I am wondering how many pre-orders they received that need to ship out first. Would like to order but if there is a wait then I will wait until all the pre-orders orders go out.

From what I have heard is they got some of all colors, but very limited quantities, but more coming, not sure when though, does seem focal is the 1st to get them though.

Ordering now will get it to you fastest in all scenarios - you'll go into a queue, behind everyone who ordered already, but ahead of anyone who orders after. If you wait for all the pre-orders to be processed, you'll still be behind those who ordered after the pre-orders started (like me.)

So as long as you don't mind paying now and receiving in a week or two, the sooner you order the sooner you'll get.

Doris replied back quite quickly and said that they are fulfilling the reserved purchases so to me that means the difference in color was negligable. Also that kangxin is shipping the products daily to meet those reserved purchases as well. I bought my device on the 20th of April so hopefully mine should be sent fairly soon. Other then that the 2-7 days is for recent purchase so with that knowledge it looks like its game on from focal, cheers!

You say they went out of stock? I see the black as in stock now. Maybe it was a mistake on their part - technically they're never actually in stock at the moment, they just keep taking orders and as soon as stock arrives it fulfils them. I guess that'll last a few weeks until stock can satisfy the early demand.

Oh, several times per year, and often for quite long periods (relatively speaking, when waiting for new products). Chinese new year being one example (couldn't even get a new pair of my current favourite bell bottoms during that time ).

My bad TheBloke. I ordered from AngelCigs last night. They only had 6 left in "pre-order-able" stock last night and they were all gone this morning. I feel lucky I got in when I did. They had new updated photos this morning too, so hopefully they will be shipping out soon!

Fair enough! You're the first I've heard ordering from Angel, so be interesting to see how they compare.

I keep forgetting to check Angel for things. I check FT first, Focal second, sometimes 3FVape, but never Angel. I must go look see what they have.

Thank you sir! I ordered from Angel in hopes that I would get it a little quicker since they already had a predetermined amount to sell and they ship from inside USA. But yes, I usually check for things in the same order you do.

I have an ETA on my Mini! And guess what.. it's the original one I ordered from FT, not the second one I ordered from Focal

This means I am almost certainly going to get two, because I can't cancel from Focal - I already cancelled an order once there before, when I had a sudden problem with my Paypal account. Having talked to Doris and chased delivery of my Mini, I can't bear to then cancel a second order with them. Especially as I hope to ask her to link to some YT reviews I'll be doing.

Oh well, I am sure I can sell it in the UK - or I'll just keep two of them For £30, it's not exactly the end of the world.

Anyway, ETA is Wednesday. In the recent past when I've had FT ETAs they've always beaten them, but I'm guessing this one is likely to go the full distance. Assuming they ship out on Thursday, I'll have it perhaps Wednesday of the following week, Wednesday 27th.

  • which I've found to mean basically the same as In Stock; all products I've ordered in the past that were Ships Next Day did indeed ship next day, and some shipped same day.
• Green = 3 Day ETA (May 20th)
• Grey = 3 Day ETA (May 20th)
• Silver = 3 Day ETA (May 20th)
• Fuchsia = still pre-order, no ETA
