New Kayfun V5 setup, need juice advice

Where does the time go? I'm not the type to run to the store every time a new toy shows up. I find something that works and stick with it. Get ready to laugh, but I've been running an authentic kayfun lite (1.6ohm) sitting on a nemesis for 3years!!! I love it, great drag and awesome flavor. But I grew tired of leaking after refilling through the top. I make my own juice and it has been simple, 15% flavor, 50/50 pg/vg and 16mg nic.

I just bought the Kayfun V5 (.6ohm clapton) and stuck it on a wismec 2/3. Now this mod thing is new to me and vaping at 20watts is whole different animal. My original juice setup now lacks flavor. Could someone please give me a starting point for what I should try??

My thinking is... 20% flavor, 70vg/30pg and 16mg nic.... My thinking is higher power adds to throat hit and I can offset this with more vg (more clouds) and the higher flavor % to make up for the reduction of pg flavor loss.

Making your own juice may be something I'm not realizing but I use to vape the kfl for a few years myself, I vaped it on either a mech or a provari, both maxed out around 14 watts. Well it's been well over a year since I vaped those kfl's, now I'm vaping the kayfun mini v3 , reaper, erlk, ka6, tile, etc. I'm now vaping all these around 25 watts but I'm still using the same juices I was vaping a couple years ago. If anything I'm getting better flavor now ,maybe because of the higher power or better rta's . But these juices are vendor bought, so maybe that has something to do with it, not sure but still using exactly the same juices

Thanks Divrr... I'm kinda thinking it's the entire direct lung thing with the V5 I'm experiencing. I'm in the MTL camp coming off the lite. Tonight I tried upping the flavor to 20% and it appears to be helping a little. At this point, I believe the lite has better flavor but could be subjective because of the MTL vs DL... Time to find that MTL kit and mess with the juice later. Thanks bud.

The DL is possible I suppose.... that's one thing I cannot say because I started mtl and am still doing it. I guess if you think about DL inhales, you do kind of add more air kind of into the mix, thus possibly diluting flavors
