So, I really want to grab this Movie Theater Fish flavor (Swedish fish are my jam!), but its so darn thick that MBV reccomends running it with more PG, I think 80/20. I wanna run it in my new kayfun with 50/50pg/vg, and don't want to be building a new coil every day because ain't nobody got time for that. So what I want to know, my ECF brethren, is has anyone ignored MBV's thickness warning, ordered it 50/50 or higher and ran it in a kayfun? If so, how did it vape, and how long were your coils lasting on average? Thanks a grip you guys, we all hate wasting money, especially when you are as strapped as this guy!! :toast: S/He who gives me valuable information is the guy (or gal) I owe a beer to.

Ya know, knowing MBV, I would heed their warning. But...why don't you try it at 60/40 or 70/30 instead? Still getting the VG clouds but still thinner than it would be at 50/50.

Or...you could just try it and see how it goes. Or...you could email MBV and see what kind of atty they've tested it on. If they haven't tested on a Kayfun, perhaps you could do it for them.

Worst case scenario-if you order it at 50/50 and it doesn't work out, just order another bottle of 100%PG and then mix each 50/50 when you fill up your Kayfun to get the 80/20 (someone better check my math on that...my brain's a little fuzzy from too much sun today).

I was just on that thread, lolz. But Im mostly concerned with it gumming like a .... due to the thickness of the flavoring, which makes sense cause I've tried a few swedish fish flavors in 60/40 and 70/30 and they were still pretty gummy, I'm just concerned about the taste of the PG getting in there too much and messing with the flavors, I know the head mixologist at Simply Vapor and he says that most of their flavors taste like .... on an RDA cause of their PG/VG ratio which is in the alley of 70/30 depending on the flavor. Hopefully me and him will be getting together on some RDA/RTA "ready" flavors soon, so maybe something will come of that.

Thick, gummy juices do gunk coils faster, but a quick dryburn and rewick should be all that is needed without building a new coil each time.
Also thinning your juice with a few drops of pg or even distilled water should make it vape cleaner and wick better, with little loss of flavor.
You may find it a perfect vape since kayfuns can be built numerous ways, and can handle all types of juice much better than a clearo or cart. JMHO
