Hello everyone. I'm still some what new to vaping. I purchased some 510 batteries from Volcanoecigs along with the PCC, chargers, couple atties, juice, etc. I was very pleased with the product until my atties started to really suck. I don't know if it's the atties or me just not knowing what I am doing. I've been dripping so far and I may have just screwed them up either dripping too much or not enough.

Anyway I placed another order with them a week ago and they still have not shipped it. At first it was something to do with them relocating their warehouse but even after they sorted that out (two days ago) it has still not left the warehouse. I'm thinking about cancelling my order and going with another company but there are so many out there that I don't know where to go.

I was looking at a few, MadVapes mainly but I just don't know who to go with. I would like to find one retailer that I can buy everything from. I've got a couple other questions so I'll just ask in this thread instead of starting another one. What would you suggest for a "big" battery? I was looking at the Joye Ego. I will probably mostly use it at home and possibly at work. I want to buy a tube tank with a 1.5 carto as well. So what are some good brands? And lastly, Volcano sells tankomizers and empty tanks, but I don't see anything like this on Madvapes site or a few other's I've looked at. I was wanting to use this system as my "on the go" set up for my 510 batteries because I haven't had any luck with the cartos I bought. Are these something that only volcano has right now?

I'm a complete noob to all this so please feel free to answer any of these questions as if you were talking to a 5 year old ;) and thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Sorry that is not how I shop. I like good juices with selectable PG/VG etc. and I like good price & warranty for hardware. So I buy juices mainly from juice vendors and hardware from hardware vendors who call things by their real names and state their warranties. Only exception is for KR808D-1 stuff - I buy hardware and juice from a full service KR808D-1-only vendor because my clearest juices come from my KR808d-1 vendor.

Big battery - I use Riva 510 kits from Liberty-Flights.com because they have the Riva 510 kits that are 3.7v (the latest Eastmall-made ones). I only use 3.7v, not 3.4v like Ego, because I use standard resistance atomizers and cartos and move them between my slim models and my fat batteries and mods. And one of my slim models is 3.7v so I don't want my fat batteries to be cooler to vape. And if you shop there, press the 20% off upper left front page before shopping so you will be shopping at the lowered prices.

Ok well I can see the pros of getting hardware from a hardware vendor and juice from a juice vendor. I'll check out liberty-flights and the Riva. Any other suggestions for hardware or juice vendors? I want to get juice for a good price because at volcano it's 12 dollars for 15ml and 20 bucks for 30ml which seems a little high to me. I bought some from BlueMist Vaping which has great prices (30 bucks for 180ml) but I'm not sure if I like the juices I got in my sampler pack. I don't know if that's becuase of the juice or because there's something wrong with my atties.

I pay $12 or $13 for 30ml at V4L and the WOW juices I have tried are thin clear juices I use in cartomizers (I use WOW Vanilla and WOWbacco, and WOWboy is the same as WOWbacco but with a bit of mint added). And once I found juices I liked I now only buy my main juices during sales. V4L has lots of sales, often over 25% off. Their shipping is pricy so shopping only during sales makes up for that. At least sign up there to get sales notices. Their cartos are KR808D-1 so if you want to try the cartos on 510 you would need a 510 to 808 adapter (99 cents from Goodprophets)

My two main 510 hardware companies are Liberty-Flights.com and LiteCigUSA.net. But V4L is my main KR808d-1 hardware company because I like the custom long cutoff. But I prefer the blank KR808d-1 cartos from SmokelessImage or Bloogplanet (and their shipping is pretty low so I don't mind shopping elsewhere).

I buy what I like best, not what I can get at one place.

Ok, well I don't plan on getting a bunch of different types of batteries. I really want to stick with a smaller 510 for on the go and a larger 510 like the Riva for at home or long drives etc. so one hardware company such as Liberty-Flights should do it for me as far as hardware goes. I'm going to check out V4L. Not as good as the prices at BlueMist but probably a little better quality. Has anyone tried the DCT Carto Tank at Liberty-Flights?

Liberty-Flights.com and LiteCigUSA.net are my two main 510 shops (mainly the latter for good stock of real Joye slim 510 batteries including the longer mega ones, but ONLY Liberty-Flights.com for Riva kits because they have the correct manufacturer and latest stock so theirs are 3.7v (and note - some of the loose batteries may older stock and not 3.7v but the Riva 510 SE loose batteries should all be 3.7v since I think the silver-topped SE was released as 3.7v)

I hear what you saying and I would never normally challenge you EVER, you know your thing and I read your advice with anticipation when newbies are questions I would like to know the answer to as well. The problem with us in Australia is we really do need a one stop shop. Its either China or USA, and they never arrive close together, I ordered 3 x from china sometimes its here within 7 days othertimes close to 3 weeks USA mostly closer to 3 weeks. SHipping costs are a KILLER!! for me to just order some juice and then pay $25 in shipping and then swap over to a hard ware supplier and then pay another $15 to $25 in shipping is not fair. It is not an unreasonable request to hope that one supplier can stock all needs to cut down at least on shipping costs. The other heart breaking factor is giving other suppliers a crack to get your parcel in the post after waiting near on 3 weeks is for it all to taste horrible or your hardware is not right and you have to post it back in order for them to investigate the issue. sorry just my rant...

We've got the same problem in Canada. Prices here are ridiculous and the choices pitiful and when I order from the U.S. it's a 15 day wait + high shipping costs + customs hassles. I ended up getting together with friends and ordering in bulk and I now DIY all my juice.

I think Welcome to MadVapes LLC will have what you need for one stop shopping. If they are out of something, they usually get it in within a couple of weeks. Well, let us not all forget the February Chinese New Year shipping issues, so stock up before February if you can.

Tanks are here: Cartomizers

They also have batteries, but it seems you are uncertain which type you want to use. Just make sure you get ones compatible with the equipment you have already - ie. chargers & attys, or get a new and more powerful system.

I've ordered from MadVapes several times and have always been happy. I also use Good Prophets And I love them. I have ordered from them around 20 times or so and only had 1 problem with a battery and they shipped a new one out within an hour of me texting them. Good Prophets does free shipping for orders over $30 and you get a 5% discount with this code "TVCfriend".

there are so many venders/suppliers it can make one dizzy:confused:

Tell me about it lol. It's good to have options...but dang! for a noob like me...I just want somebody to tell me "Get this XYZ brand!!" So I don't have to spend the money trying different vendors. Just looking at the Forum Suppliers can be daunting. So my question to the OP is...what do you think of volcanoecigs? As a semi noob, I've considered ordering from them, but if their customer service isn't very good...I'd rather avoid them. That's one of the reasons why I don't order from bluecigs anymore. I placed an order with blu, and for two weeks....nothing...so I sent them an email asking about the kit I ordered and their response was a component (I think it was the cartomizers) were on back ordered. Very next day...it shipped! Then I had to order replacement batteries bc the original ones stopped working. Same deal....waited around 2 weeks, then sent an email inquiring about the status of the order. Again, their response was the batteries were on backordered....next day....it shipped!! To me that's just bad customer service...I hope volcano doesn't fall into that category

I tend to agree with Swedishfish here. About a year a go, I was loving Madvapes but they seem to have become a victim of their own success. They are shoveling lots of volume out the door and quality control has declined. My last order I received 3/4 items that I wasn't happy with and the one I was happy with was a replacement item. It's sad for me to have to say, especially about a registered supplier but it seems that as a one-stop shop the've kinda become like a wal-mart.

just to let you know, I've been staring at the post a good minute, wondering whether to hit the reply button or not and seeing if I can say this a little better........

....and I still shop there and refer to them because they have a couple great little items I can't find anywhere else
