I am stuck with my old trident,with a 20ga wire and a bnew ipv2 mini :)

currently having a microcoil,2.5mm,7wraps,@20watts..
all airflow control ring removed :)

so I guess I can get a better atty,my options for cloudchasings are limited..(I miss my plumeveil)
and my head is dried out of ideas how to cloudchase this thing..

I think one of the biggest things regarding atomizers is to use them as intended. I have a Trident V1 and I love it. Flavor is fantastic, works great with humble 26g-30g builds generally over 0.5ohms.

To drill that thing out would be a crime. Different atomizers serve different functions. I have a Dark Horse and I know I am not getting anything close to the flavor of that Trident, which is why I use it to handle my low gauge builds with high vapor production. Do you have anything besides 20g at the moment? The Trident really shines for flavor, so my suggestion is to enjoy it as it is until you can get a new one for the collection.
