So I must have dropped my eVic one too many times and the screen has developed a crack. I'm concerned it'll eventually break so I'm looking at different devices to see what might be a good upgrade.

So far I'm considering just relenting to the pressure and buying a provari. My wife has a VAMO and she likes it, but honestly it's just too large and heavy, I'd like something a little smaller and more powerful.

Any suggestions?

It's true, the Vamo isn't really that much different in size/weight than any other VV/VW mod with the *same* size batteries in it.

That said if you are dropping your mod quite a bit... and you "like to fiddle" maybe it's time to consider a mechanical? I love mine, in part because I know it could fall off the roof of a five story building and still work when I picked it back up again.

I'm not a huge fan of the VAMO, other than it's massive weight and solid build it's just too... I don't know, I don't have a great reason. The provari with an 18650 is just about the exact same size as my eVic which is perfect, the VAMO is like a club.

I'll look into the zmax though and do some research. I want something solid, that'll power anything I throw at it. Carto tanks, RBA, RDA, whatever I'm playing with.

Just pony up the money for a Provari. Buy once, cry once, and regret it never.

No need to worry about dropping it. They've been known to survive falling from a one story ledge onto concrete, falling out of a pocket riding on a motorcycle, run over by a pick up truck, being dunk in a swimming pool, and surviving an entire wash cycle in a washing machine - and each time continued to work.

Provape will continue to service a Provari for as long as you own it, at reasonable costs that are displayed on the Provape website. No Chinese mod manufacturer offers that.

You will be hard pressed to find a more consistant, dependable, or durable mod. If you can find a better mod than the Provari, then buy that.

I currently have the eVic, along with the 2 ego twists that originally got me started vaping, and although none of them are broke and I've never really had any issues with the eVic, I too am looking to purchase an upgrade- but plan on keeping the eVic as a backup.

Personally, I REALLY like the idea and looks of most mechanical mods; especially those with the bottom fire/button configuration (for purely aesthetic purposes though as I'm unaware of any additional benefits, if any, a bottom button serves on terms of functionality).

Although many of the mech mods that I have come across and liked are currently unavailable or difficult to get, I'm really considering biting the bullet and pre-ordering one of Super T's Precise ELA mods.

the Itazte MVP might be something you would like - its very durable, VV - and as an added bonus you can charge your cell phone with it :)

I'm waiting for mine from a co-op.. they are pretty cheap too (only thing is they have a built in battery so it will eventually kick the bucket, not sure if thats a concern for you)
