Well, fine. This is my first post.

Tried ecigs with "Mistics" early this year. Naturally, Pilot gas stations dropped them. "Automatic" ecigs were interesting, and I figured I could finally stop handrolling.

Invested in some eGo-T's (I believe they were really W's), and stopped handrolling entirely. Unfortunately, they don't survive walk-in door collisions well.. The eGo 18650 "mod" is a nice little workhorse, and now accompanies me to work daily.

At home, I built a 4-AA "Puck" (http://puckecig.com), using a 4x and 2x box-pair.. NiMh is now my "goto device", at home.

The eGo tanks are essentially trash, afaic.. Buggers leak all over after awhile.. I use them now only to test new ejuice mixes.. The Vision Version 2 is a solid performer, and the Vivi Nova has become my mainstay, since I rewicked and coiled it. The Vivi Tank is a fine looking bit of hardware. Unfortunately, it seems to have developed a short within my first week of use.. I may fix it or recycle it, but it was wicking SS just fine for awhile, (although I did double the nichrome for the coils).

I mix exclusively tobacco flavors, and I'm just getting a feel for the tobacco-products from the first two below.

MyFreedomSmokes.com, shop.perfumersapprentice.com, Madvapes.com, GoodProphet.com, DiscountVapers.com, VaporKings.com, stormysvaporcellar.com - These folks are all very decent and reliable.

Oh, I should mention: The Puck was nearly trivial to build, but I hope your local Radio Shack isn't like here.. It's sad. And, while many use epoxy to glue several cases together, I went whole-hog and bought some ABS cement (plumbing supply). Works terrific, and much like we used to use on plastic models.

MadVapes has parts and kits available, so don't be overly afraid to attempt a scratch-build, or one of their kits.. I'd recommend the first kit be dead-simple, (KISS). I plan to pick up at least one of their kits myself, just to try a new twist on an old skill.. You willl need to learn to solder, and I don't recommend a RS iron at all! I also do recommend getting some solder-paste - another item I can't find locally.. With rosin core, I can sorta' skip it, but I like to be able to dip the iron and wipe on occasion.

Good Luck.

Well, I did enjoy smoking & rolling, even my meerschaums.. Got tired of the taxes and lung-chunk issues..

Besides, I've returned to a "hobby" - wire/electronics - I left years ago.. Of course, *now* I am blowing money left & right for the apropos tools.. *sigh* And I soooo wanted to place that bloody MidwayUSA order..

Switching to Workamping - leaving MI and investing all I have - has also put a limit on what I can own, so the challenge is muiltiplied ;-)
