It might be, but not yet . . . Remeber, I'm a "newbie" - not only on the forum, but to "vaping" . . . that is untill I get the battery charged - now if I could only speed up that DAM clock again

Actually, in another post (by "yagotwanna"), we were both very anxous to get our first "eCigs" that were expected to come tis Friday . . . Well, just imagine my surprise when I went to my mail box to find that my new "G6" arrived today instead of Friday . . .
Matter of fact, long story short, Halo just put them for sale on their website (Electronic Cigarette by Halo) today . . .
So, because of a mix-up (by my friend who gifted me this for my Birthday) and the wonderful customer service at Halo (THANKS - Jay Blazio - aka Johnny) , not only was I able to "order" my new "G6" before anyone else - I got my package earlier than even I expected . . . Great start for a "newbie" - Right?

I wil be soon, although I already posted a little bit about my first experience with my wonderful new "G6" in "yagottawanna" thread, I haven't gotten use to it enough yet - nor to "vaping" properly - to do justice and to give a real review. (BTW, it seems it is very close to a KR808 and/or 510 and uses the same style "cartomizers" from what I have been told.) Right now, it also looks like I either need to get use to aquiring my tatse buds back or get different "juice" that is more like menthol . . . We'll see . . .
Do you have to work tomorrow? If not, maybe we can nurse each other along here. Ya know - keeping checking on one another to make sure that neither of us is lying on the floor missing a lung or two.
I know you'll have a menthol tobacco blend showing up real soon, but, yeah, it does take awhile to get taste back.
Typically the taste comes back right before the taste doldrums, but the doldrums are temporary and taste gradually improves from there.

Actually, I'm what some might call or classifiy as "disabled" and is one of the reason's I am trying to quit smoking - but I am still very active and do a lot of volunteer work. So, although I will not be home all day, with out a doubt -
YES - let's stay in contact eith each other through out the day (via a pm might be good way so we don't fill the threads up with too much stuff) to see how each of is doing . . . then either one of us can reach out to pick up the others' lung if need be . . .Thank you for the encouragement, I know it will take some time and it will happen eventually . . . And although, I am not going to limit myself to just one flavor, I hope I can find the right "juice" for me soon . . . (BTW, "yagottawanna" told it all today, however I took a day off from using my "eCig" even though it does fit what I need right now - there was absolutly no satisfaction from the taste - quite disappointing to say the least - hopefully with the new flavors I will be able to start up again. Just thought I would let you know that I'm back to just one thread - Thanks to the Moderator "UntamedRose" . . .
It's been a couple of days since I posted anything and although I REALLY LIKE my NEW "G6" (just what I needed to start my transition into the World of "Vaping" . . . feels right - works great - and what else could a beginner or a experienced "Vapor" need, especially if they are on the run all the time) . . . I'm still trying to get use to both the Automatic vs Manual batteries - using the "Auto" gives Huge Vapor, but haven't gotten use to having to push the button . . . And the Manual is so easy and feels so right - but not allot of "Vapor" yet . . . However, although I know I will also have to upgrade sometime in the future, I'm still a happy "camper" for now with my choice . . . BUT TASTE - where is the Taste . . .
And as for the "Taste" of some flavorers of "eJuice" I have and those sent to me recently by the one and only "Hoosier" . . . Either my "Taste-buds" are all dead to these "Vaps" I'm trying (I know my taste buds are not gone, because I can still taste my food, coffee, and "anologs" - I know UGH ! ! !) . . . However, I have yet to Taste anything, unless you want to count after-taste . . . Horrible "minty" taste and I do like mints/mint candy/mint gum . . . but I hate 'Minty" taste in cigarettes - what can I say . . . My next step is to clean out the 2 extra cartomizers I have already filled tonight with stuff and try something else tomorrow. We'll see . . . Hope, I find a "True Menthol" soon . . I have even order a couple of Menthol Flavors that people have recommended to me - can't wait until they come, but I'll have too . . .

The Menthol Cig I sent you has no mint in it. Just menthol and tobacco flavorings.

TAsting vapor is all in the nose. Your tongue has nothing to do with it. Smoking has screwed up your nose. It will get better, but sucks while things are changing. Just before my nose started to work with vapor, there were more than a few Kleenex filled. About a box I think. It was disgusting what I could smell after that. So its not all good.
Find something that isn't disgusting to vape. I had to go with flavors that were completely different than I thought I wanted before that happened. Which is more common than not. In fact many of the non menthol flavors I sent you are also flavors that my formally menthol cig smoking family and friends used to switch. Only one of those folks thought that something besides a menthol or menthol/cig flavor would ever work. I had to trick most of them into trying something different.

I too was a Kool Menthol smoker, and if you find yourself really itching for that flavor I HIGHLY suggest BackWoods Brew Menthol Tobacco. I recently got a bottle of medium strength 16mg and it's to die for as a former menthol smoker.
